I was hoping it would be a quid by xmas but i think we got to be more realistic. After all even with the water news the initial euphoria dissipated and the share price is back to what it was before and now possibly drifting untill we get something more concrete . It appears the IV's need convincing !. In time i am sure it will come right . There are a few questions I would like clarity on however . I am sure they will have been covered before but can anyone enlighten me on the following :-
1. As IOF's business model relies on the supply of brine, how do we know that will continue indefinately . My understanding is Cheapeake is the main supplier
of Brine. Will Cheapeake continue to drill in the area and supply the Brine to IOF
2. With regard to wells that have ben disused , I think i read the brine that cannot be disposed is left there . would this Brine still be available to IOF in the future and even so would it be worthwhile for an operator to pump this out of the ground just because IOF needs it !

Cheers
Meb

One thing is for sure (as sure as one can be in this world) anyone in a position to buy shares in IOF at these prices will be handsomely rewarded in time. I have bought as many as I could, making sure I am able to buy them outright. Nobody should sell at these prices unless they have financial pressures. As always however DYOR.

Jam

No idea on the price but I anticipate a potential JV on 3 fronts for IOF within 12 months, water, helium and iodine. It's not wild guessing either, and Mr B probably agrees.

Water one of about half a dozen I could name for all 3 sectors.

On others there are a few sleepers, but for now such big moves are unlikely with the market and sentiment as it is. They will probably bump along until actual delivery is apparent.

How can it possibly be risk averse just to invest in one company?

Jamonit, having lost shedloads here, and now below breakeven on QFI, I would only ever invest in companies that are already generating cash. It seems like you need to be immensely risk averse in your current circumstances.
If that were me, (and it might well be before long), I would invest in GVC, GVC and nothing but GVC. Apart from capital growth, you will be handed a dividend every 13 week, with which to pay your bills.

I am in three shares, one I have given up hope on USOP on GXG exchange, but still may come off. IOF my banker! But my hope of a real good earner is SXX, just submitted a Planning Application and results should be in January, to mine the largest amount of Potash ever found in Whitby Yorkshire.

Jamonit,
No one knows, it's up to investors how much they value the business at, all I know is that the business is performing well, I'm very happy on that front.

Share price will reflect progress.

Surely using 2 avatars would be duplicitous? If he is alleging I'm just using the one, then that's like being accused of doing the right thing?

Some people are harassing women and getting police cautions and you chose to turn a blind eye... while others are using one avatar and being hung, drawn and quartered?

No wonder some investors are a little suspicious of this company, and the company it attracts.

My guess is that Banksy has been almost single-handedly supporting this stock price in a falling market. So it was probably artificially high. Maybe his brokers have been instructed to use a lower price range?

Anyway it looks like 38-42 will become the next range, still quite expensive imho.

engelo, about mid november I think. It seems to me that the BoD want 2 clear months to observe production at IO5 and 6 before issuing the performance review. As the issues at IO5 and 6 weren't really improving until mid september, they would need til mid november to assess the plants' performance, which is more or less in line with guidance.

Tory smear campaign, very amusing, I know a lot of harassed women, men too!

Back on track, I suspect that IOF will update the market soon, don't think they will let the share price drift between now and December 1.

Since when was drinking a crime? Or for that matter, since when was drinking even regarded as a negative activity that precluded one from having an opinion?

I mean it's not as if I'm harassing women and getting police cautions... is it?
