Healthcare, they are basically another agency.

I like what they did with their healthcare website - you now can get a sense of what they actually do and size of their operations.

Communications to the city, shareholders and staff are truly abysmal from IRV, someone is stealing a living.

If they can generate that sort of cash out of a 90m market cap company I’ll happily continue my journey with them even if I’m heavily diluted!

"we are on track to deliver our commitments to our lenders". You should certainly hope so because, if not.......

That just gets them to 2021. Then they need to refinance. This is nothing to do with "shorters". There is still a long and rocky road ahead.

Actually, cc makes a good point.

At face value a 3% decrease in short positions in a month or so would seem to indicate that approximately 4.5 million shares have been bought just to cover those short positions. If this sort of buying volume wasn't (at all!) reflected in a surge in share price, why is there such a great appetite to sell. That is the implicit question in cc's post.

In reality, the actual volume of buys necessary to cover a few 0.51% positions and moving them to 0.49% is much smaller - so I am not reading much into the share price movements either way - very small volumes most days and no institutional investors changing their positions. I welcome a trend reversal when it comes to short positions as it would seem to indicate that some bears think this might be a bottom from where to bounce from.

Over on LSE (is that site working ok for you guys?) someone just posted "from interserve" that "we are on track to deliver our commitments to our lenders" - not sure about the veracity of that statement but if accurate - we've been through the numbers - the company is generating a lot of cash.

Aren't you guys concerned that the shorters are successfully closing and yet the share price has dropped over the same period? Once they stop buying what will support the price?

On another matter I'm not sure cable moving up to 1.33 makes much difference. On the one hand IRV have $300m of debt and on the other they will have a chunk of the defined benefit pension fund invested in overseas companies. They will partially cancel out, not that we can tell as IRV don't tell us in the accounts (which is very unusual). Maybe they don't have any overseas pension investments but that would be most surprising. I guess it's better to improve the short term debt position and move it to a long term burden onto the pensioners, not that the trustees will support that for very long.

well it is Q4 and I do think IRV will give us a good update soon.....Shorters wont want to be caught out either - they have had a great run and they will reverse or perhaps have started.

Correct - short positions dropped from 8.5% at the beginning of August to 6.3% but this movement is magnified by 0.49% positions disappearing from the total (no obligation to disclose below 0.5%). Either way - a sign indicating that some think this is a bottom (clearly 6.3% still bet on the stock still traveling south).

The USD is weakening in general and cable is 1.33 and bullish.

I really hope for some good news and a fat squeeze. It can't come too early.

Frankly, I don't think Brexit is of any relevance at all to IRV (the only reference to it as a risk in their AR is that it might limit their access to cheap foreign labour!) but since it seems to have become a burning topic here -

the so-called 'People's Vote' is simply a (very) thinly-veiled ploy by Remainers to try to overthrow the result of the Referendum. Every single politician who has proposed it - Cable, Sturgeon, Khan et al - has suggested that the alternative to voting 'for' the terms agreed (presumably Chequers or something similar) is to stay in the EU whereas the obvious alternative (if, as they claim, the decision of the Referendum stands and this is just about 'the terms') is to say 'no' to Chequers and leave anyway. Of course, the difficulty is that a referendum has to be binary; if you introduce more than 2 choices, you are never going to get an overall majority for anything. Anyway, it seems to me that the elephant in the room being ignored by May, her coterie of 'advisers' and the EU is that Chequers hasn't got a hope of getting through the UK Parliament.................

...the fact that Khan is a clown shouldn't confuse the issue though. The fact remains that any 'vote' now will be to decide between burgers.

If the point of your post was simply to highlight the fact that Khan was a clown then I apologise. Although you could have used any number of Khan quotes about all sorts of things to make that point!

dex - listen to his statement - he contradicts himself in 2 sentences.

He says he does not want another referendum - but says he wants a vote which votes to "stay in EU"
The two are the same and have nothing to do with burgers.

Surely you are missing the point ?

A vote on 'the deal' is not an in/out vote. It is an "out type A" or "out type B" thing. You would be voting on the type of out not whether we go out?

Question 1: Do you want Burger or pizza?

Answer 1: Burger

Question 2: Do you want lamb burger or beef burger ?

Answer 2: Beef burger

Question 2 is not a re-run of question 1

Sadiq Khan saying the other day he does not want to rerun the referendum - but in the same sentence says that the deal should be put to the vote - including the option to stay in the EU......

No wonder we have little respect for politicians!

I wonder if he would have had the same approach if on winning the vote for mayor someone went along and said - sorry not making you mayor we are going to have another vote......

@Oliver

"Second referendum --Result we remain in EU. orchestrated part of the NWO Agenda"

That'd make it 1 :1 so why should the second vote takes superiority to first?
We'd need another surely?

"It's going to happen in any event"

And the bodies are going to start dropping in that eventuality I suspect.
