16/8/2018 06:38 | What is the view on the potential disposal of Kwickform to repair the balance sheet? | potofgold1
16/8/2018 01:37 | Jeffian-It's reassuring and more balanced that you state that you don't discount a recovery here. You come across as over-pessimistic IMV though over future share structures etc and "how many new shares may be washing around in a year or two......" Remember it was on the brink of liquidation prior to the rescue package and the share price was much higher then. I reckon the risk of those future possibilities you highlight are more than allowed for in the current oversold share price There are zero Carillion shares 'washing about' today so it's not all doom and gloom for IRV or it's intrepid shareholders.Indeed there's a chance of share price quadrupling from here IMV. | windrushg
15/8/2018 23:55 | windrushg, Sorry if it came across as a "told you so" which was unintended. I meant that if you completely discount views other than those you already hold - as cfc1 did at the outset - then it will remain a 'mystery' to you when the shares don't perform as you expect. I don't discount the possibility of recovery here; I just don't see what the equity structure will look like if/when it does recover. Cerrito, like aendjo previously, falls into the trap of referring everything back to the existing number of shares in issue ("the company is stronger than three months ago when the price was £1+."). How many new shares will be washing around in a year or two if there is a debt/equity swap, Rights Issue or Placing to refinance the balance sheet? | jeffian
15/8/2018 21:19 | Another drop in Short positions to 7.42% on shorttracker tonight.seems like some feel share price is unlikely to decline further from here. Should be a reversal of recent fall in share price from here in all likelihood IMV. | da vinci1
15/8/2018 20:30 | For my sins which must be many, I continue to hold. I agree with the comment that today the company is stronger than three months ago when the price was £1+. I thought management came over well in the analyst meeting. Clear will be a hard slog and the whole Qatar issue clearly an inconvenience for them. The reality is that the sprice may well go much lower in the next six months. Debbie reminded us that her opinion that debt is too high and that the Board will come up with their strategy for debt reduction before year end..and the reality is that whatever they propose bar major disposals will stress the price. | cerrito
15/8/2018 19:51 | In all fairness, Jeffian was right. I’m still holding but I put my hands up - I thought there would have been some progress on debt position and I was wrong. I still believe there’s value in this over-leveraged company. As of today, I could buy twice as many shares for the cash. I’m holding, but at the very least my timing was off. | aendjo
15/8/2018 19:42 | But Jeffian, you promised to refrain from 'getting up people's noses' .LOL. Seriously though, given that you've made significant losses yourself, why would anyone attach any credence to your opinions and smug (I told you so) mockery of others understandable frustrations???This is a volatile share in terms of SP, But in a much stronger position fundamentally than at the beginning of the year when the share price was way above £1. | windrushg
15/8/2018 18:57 | "jeffian - 22 Jul 2018 - 18:15:14 - 9664 of 9766 Interserve - Awaiting A Recovery - IRV .......If you only want to read good things about shares that you hold, or read opinions that simply echo your own, then you're not going to learn very much and are destined to keep bleating 'I don't understand why this isn't going up'." cfc115 Aug '18 - 16:53 - 9764 of 9765 0 0 0 cant believe the price. | jeffian
15/8/2018 18:49 | I said on a couple of boards this morning that the market seemed nervous , went out this afternoon and came back to carnage. The market is punishing any bad news at the moment and if good news is not accompanied with even better outlook then that gets punished as well. Once market loses faith everything tanks because you can switch horses to cheaper , better less riskier options... | fenners66
15/8/2018 16:53 | cant believe the price. Company MUST get on with something soon. Disposals and some big news. Its quite stunning to be below 60p.... | cfc1

15/8/2018 12:58 | As far as Interserve are concerned, It would be good to see 100% of increased profits used to' pay Bond holders' and paying down debt levels. That is what the objective is! Not in the slightest bit interested in dividends in this recovery situation. | windrushg
15/8/2018 12:16 | But what % of Balfours increased profits were given to Bond holders when they cashed in on their leverage to take shares in that company ? | fenners66
15/8/2018 12:03 | Impatience is weighing on the share price lately but the BOD know what they're doing. Balfour Beatty's profits quadrupled in the six months to 29th June boosted by COST-CUTTING AND ASSET SALES. Irv recently embarked on a similar strategy of which the benefits will be realized in the medium-term. My intention is to hold my shares for the turnaround and recovery! | windrushg
14/8/2018 10:42 | Looks like £ rose on unemployment figures , but then fell back again despite them so the risk is still there for the US debt | fenners66
14/8/2018 06:43 | NHS Building for Wales has named its line-up of contractors to deliver a new healthcare building framework. Four firms – BAM Construction, Interserve, Kier, Willmott Dixon – secured the lot covering major projects worth more than £12m, which is expected to be worth over £224m during the next four years across Wales. | aendjo
13/8/2018 22:50 | Justifying a bonus perhaps ? | fenners66
13/8/2018 22:33 | Wwhy I completely agree. Why is she "fixing" something that isn't broken? | the juggler
13/8/2018 18:36 | RMD Kwikform has had an initiative underway since 2017 called "Vision 2022" - a plan to double in size. There has been substantial investment, not least in some highly paid individuals, to make sure it happens. As I understand it, it's been a case of, "so far so good" until now, with the latest interims showing RMD, for the first time in ages, slowing down. No coincidence I think, that Interserve has recently got far more "hands-on" with RMD and is stubbornly insisting they fall in line with the "One Interserve" / "Fit for Growth" initiatives. Might be best to just leave them to get on with it Debbie? | whyyy
13/8/2018 17:18 | An astute observation! What do you want for that...a paper hat??? LOL | da vinci1
13/8/2018 16:45 | Price down another 3.2% | fenners66
11/8/2018 10:51 | All the following imho dyorDo we think that investors chronicle is been fair or do we think they have an agenda. It seems that whatever IRV do then investors chronicle want to be negative on them? | dandanactionman
10/8/2018 23:14 | I also think that cable will strengthen. Now I have to hope it really will, and fast. | aendjo |
