08/10/2018 11:56 | Will struggle to do a rights issue at this price | angliatv
08/10/2018 10:41 | MMs have big spread on IRV buy/sell. Ridiculous and clearly trying to hold the price down - a good sign? | cfc1
08/10/2018 10:36 | CFC, 18 grand worth of trades this AM. No sign at all. It’s been a relentless downward trend but volumes have been small. I’m keeping my nerve. | aendjo
08/10/2018 09:47 | MMs have big spread on IRV buy/sell. Ridiculous and clearly trying to hold the price down - a good sign? | cfc1
06/10/2018 22:28 | Hard brexit?? More like hard bounce from here. | eodfire
06/10/2018 20:25 | It takes huge balls to open a short here. Refinancing is in place and they will sell the Crown Jewels if things don’t go according to plan. Maybe I’m in denial - but I read Derby council minutes and go through the numbers (sum of parts of various businesses) and even with the large leverage IRV has it appears to be undervalued to me. | aendjo
06/10/2018 09:37 | What??? Fenners are you friends (or something!) with Mr fixit ? Be careful only the last mr fixit turned out to be a right nonce! LOL. On a more serious note, it looks like a Brexit deal is quite imminent causing Sterling to strengthen against the Euro and US Dollar which will be of great benefit to Interserve Plc. When a deal is signed off this effect will be magnified IMV.No wonder the Shorters are starting to close out! | windrushg
06/10/2018 01:15 | Windy that's actually the Weichzler scale.... | fenners66
06/10/2018 01:15 | Windy that's actually the Weichsler scale.... | fenners66
05/10/2018 23:00 | That’s incorrect Eodfire. It will be closer to 200p. | aendjo
05/10/2018 21:34 | My Wiseman A score says irv will track back to 100p with news of more disposals. | eodfire
05/10/2018 21:01 | Thank you Windrushg - that made me LOL. I remain upbeat here. Not entirely familiar with those scores, I would have to admit. I think shorting at these prices is suicidal, but then again I bought in at twice the current share price | aendjo
05/10/2018 18:06 | That is like saying a share won't go higher! There is 50 points per pound profit if it goes bust. A share with a Pitroski F score of 2 or below has 5 times more chance of going bust. Altman Z score: In subsequent tests over 31 years up until 1999, the model was found to be 80-90% accurate in predicting bankruptcy one year prior to the event. | mrfixituk
05/10/2018 18:05 | That is like saying a share won't go higher! There is 50 points per pound profit if it goes bust. Altman Z score: In subsequent tests over 31 years up until 1999, the model was found to be 80-90% accurate in predicting bankruptcy one year prior to the event. | mrfixituk
05/10/2018 14:18 | Strong support at 50 | 1fraser
05/10/2018 14:15 | When I say its a bit late - that is not on the prospect of where it goes from here, but on where it has come from. Anyone deciding to short now could have done so a couple of months ago - there has been no significant news since then, when share price was a bit higher. | fenners66
05/10/2018 14:03 | Provident Financial has a similar debt profile. Let's see if this fall's also! | mrfixituk
05/10/2018 13:56 | No they are companies with similar dire financials as Interserve. As I have already said Interserve has a fcf/debt ratio that indicates it doesn't have much cash to service it's debt. A Pitroski F score of 2 and Altman Z less than 1.8. Go and look up what they mean. The current chart does not say buy. If you like speculating/gsmbling at least wait until the price is above the 200 day moving average. It should preferably be flat or pointing up! | mrfixituk
05/10/2018 13:12 | Oh! So you are having a Short punt based on comparing the chart to the charts of countrywide and carpetright! Perhaps you should give some thought to comparing their respective fundamentals! I think fenners66 is right and many others who are now closing Short positions. | windrushg
05/10/2018 12:54 | Not at all. Still plenty of profit to be had if it goes down further. Look at Countrywide and Carpet right. Scary charts like interserve | mrfixituk
05/10/2018 12:00 | Added this morning at 51.5p to nudge my average cost down to 74p.Am confident things will turn around. | da vinci1
05/10/2018 11:56 | A bit late then | fenners66
05/10/2018 11:48 | It also has a low free cash flow to debt ratio. Usually one of the single biggest red flags. I opened a short yesterday. | mrfixituk |
