03/4/2007 13:00 | The AGM does normally give the interim results date so a run to interims from AGM possible... | ![]() 68steve
03/4/2007 12:55 | More importantly, market cap and liquidity are higher so I would not expect the AGM to have a major effect in future. I expect a technical recovery soon anyway, and the AGM will do no harm. It is two months to results and tax related selling will be done this week. I'm hoping the recent fall from 30p will look like a brief aberation from the growth story in 12 months. I still think my 68p forecast for Feb 2009 seems pretty reasonable. | ![]() aleman
03/4/2007 12:20 | Sorry ,stand corrected but it was obvious back then that IBG was growing rapidly and looked undervalued, sentimen | ![]() 68steve
03/4/2007 12:12 | 68steve, The first white line is AGM price opened at 9.59 and second Interims closed 13.50!!! In fact the price never went lower than 9.59 again | ![]() cr4zyness
03/4/2007 11:59 | Show the bigger picture Aleman,it then went lower till interims ;-) | ![]() 68steve
03/4/2007 11:48 | 68steve - 3 Apr'07 - 11:26 - 1312 of 1319 I think the main reason why not much share price movement is because Maz stated profits would`nt come thru till H2..AGM in past has no impact on share price so interim results should be the catalyst for any upturn in share price .. Look again at the AGM in 2005. | ![]() aleman
03/4/2007 11:41 | "The majority of these profits are expected in the second half of the financial year, as a consequence of seasonality in line with the markets in which IBG operates." I don't know if someone has already explained this, but its a tad puzzling. The first half is Nov,Dec,Jan,Feb,Marc That includes Christmas and a fair proportion of holiday bookings doesn't it ? So how come the profits flow is going to be in May-October, which I would have thought is the quietest period. Is it that the majority of travel bookings are made May-October ? Only everyone I know books in the cold months, perhaps starting October. | ![]() yump
03/4/2007 11:40 | Have to say my enthusiasm for IBG has been dampened by a rather lack lustre update and the fact they are continuing with Sweatband which as Maz has stated in the past is time consuming and very little reward..Just sell it and concentrate on where the big bucks is...rant over... | ![]() 68steve
03/4/2007 11:34 | So you have been selling recently... interesting... | waynerwayner
03/4/2007 11:31 | Liar, werent you one of the early holders (sub 5p or so)? | waynerwayner
03/4/2007 11:29 | My holding is now too small to contemplate attending the AGM, the flight wouldn't be worth it. | ![]() liarspoker
03/4/2007 11:27 | Wayner, For what it is worth my opinion is that this share price does move quickly and I dont see any negetive news recently. Sometimes a little patience is needed albeit frustrating ;0 | ![]() cr4zyness

03/4/2007 11:23 | If only IBG was eligble for an ISA..... | ![]() stemis
03/4/2007 11:19 | Me too, however there are lots of traders who actually do have spare cash and are not putting it in IBG... question is why... stop loss is getting closer... hope I havent read this share wrong... | waynerwayner
03/4/2007 11:04 | w/w if I had spare cash at the moment I would be filling up my Isa. | ![]() niggle
03/4/2007 10:54 | zero volume... not a good sign, and i dont mean today, i mean from a general standpoint... | waynerwayner
03/4/2007 00:06 | implications for IBG???? Massively funded competitor keen to take out competitors in Europe and U.S.??? Can't be good for IBG... unless it means that they get acquired by someone Slapper | ![]() slapdash
02/4/2007 21:42 | Google Inc. would extend its dominance of the online advertising market from search advertising into ad networks and banner ads if it bought DoubleClick Inc., say analysts commenting on widespread reports that Google may seek to outbid Microsoft Corp. and other potential suitors for DoubleClick | ![]() aleman

02/4/2007 15:34 | 12345th - I think the bid has gone up but the offer has come down leaving the same mid point. Maybe your monitor is looking at the bid price? | omlaysause
