29/3/2007 14:58 | Perhaps people are selling to offset against their CGT? I cannot see anybody to be in profit for the last 15 months. I expect more selling pressure until the end of tax year. | nghomi

29/3/2007 11:12 | As it has been said before, 24p attracted new buyers. We will see more trades when the company updates the market. Does anybody have the breakdown of the expected EPS in H1 and H2? I expect that all growth will be in the second half. | nghomi
29/3/2007 11:10 | The trading volume shows there a lot of people watching this, maybe now we can get back into the 30's... | waynerwayner
29/3/2007 10:54 | Wow, nearly a million shares traded already ..... that's more than we usually see in a couple of weeks. Looks like we may have found the bottom!? | omlaysause
29/3/2007 10:33 | so this appears to be where the buying comes in.... too late for me as I dumped the whole lot at what will probably be the bottom... made a thumping loss.... but c'est la vie.... what worries me is a lack of director buys even though some have bought shares at much higher prices.... reduction in eps forecast when the finals were announced... nevertheless... I think I will look pretty stupid for selling in the future.... and I think I am pretty stupid for selling... but in companies with little tangible assets I think you have to be cautious... if I had of had more cash, though, I would of kept this position... 29/3/2007 09:51 | Although I think there is some complexity about monetising NetFreeStuff (a site I'm not impressed with incidentally) and Hennoo, these are relatively small beer compared to the core AF business which I think is relatively understandable (?). I think part of the problem is that 2006/7 is going to be something of a transitional year. We have - significant increase in the infrastructure to facilitate the future growth potential of the Company. - introduction of new management in E Commerce with consequent (short term) drop in turnover and profits - roll out of geographic expansion using IBG Media to capture web traffic through new websites - expiry of tax losses - adoption of IFRS - apparent back end weighting of profits due to a seasonality we have never really seen (noticed) before. As a result there is some degree of uncertainty over how these will play in the accounts. If Maz et al can manage all of these whilst still hitting forecast for the year (which I expect them to do), then I think it will be an admirable achievement. Patience as ever required. | ![]() stemis

29/3/2007 09:30 | There'll be quite a few selling just because its broken down through the 27p level. Fundamentals don't come into it. If there isn't 'something going on' then its understandable why the next raft of investors might not be ready to buy yet. I'm an affilate of quite a few years and while I understand the 'normal' model, its not been easy to figure out exactly how Henoo will earn for IBG. If its not that clear to me, then its really going to confuse investors who are looking for visibility. Perhaps one of the costs of trying new areas - for some investors the strategy won't be very clear. As someone said however, earnings will bring visibility. What's slightly unnerving is that there are other companies around with equally 'complex' strategies, which haven't suffered the same relative weakness in share price On the other hand, there's also plenty of companies that have suffered inexplicable drops outside their trading range, only to recover well above previous highs. All I can think is that a mix of early investors leaving in drabs and consistently topslicing has coincided with a gap before later investors appear in any volume. Trouble is, the more the share price drops, the more early stagers will conserve profits, although that should have been done near the highs, not on falls. | ![]() yump
29/3/2007 09:30 | When a share, esp. a small cap, falls for a long time, a lot of folks naturally start assuming there's 'something wrong' that others know about and they don't. Obviously sometimes that's the case, but often, especially when it's just a continuous trickle of small sells from PIs, it's just Mr Market going through one of his extreme mood swings, which feeds on itself and for a while becomes self perpetuating as the fearful bale out. FWIW, I'm in for a few this morning for the first time, and on absence of any update from the Co. will probably buy a few more if it drops another 20% or so. Time will tell whether it's a good move or not! | tonyr
29/3/2007 09:24 | Strangely the RSPs don't want to buy or sell in any sort of quantity. It's time like this you I wish I kept a decent reserve of cash. No doubt the price will bounce strongly before my EWD money arrives :( Its rather bizzarre that the share price has gone nowhere over the last 15 months despite a near tripling of profits, but that's the stock market for you. I can't see how a wheel could have come off the business in the last 6 weeks. We are only a month from the end of the interims so maybe we'll get some sort of feel for trading at the AGM. Assuming Maz has kept a bit in reserve to at least come marginally ahead of forecast, then we are on a current year forecast P/E of 11.75 and a next year forecast of 7.8 Should be a 50% return from here for any buyers. | ![]() stemis |
