18/9/2019 11:01 | I have no inside knowledge about negotiations - I work for one of the major shareholders, and I know that they view this as IAG having messed up. The union have come across better!!! But hey, that's just my opinion and that if my colleagues! | goblin99
18/9/2019 10:47 | Nothing reasoned about it goblin.......unless of course you have inside knowledge of the negotiations ? | m1k3y1
18/9/2019 10:19 | You can laugh all you want - Should you agree or not, the approach the union have taken has been logical and reasoned - unlike BA who are starting to lose the plot. You carry on laughing whilst the strikes are still going on in November. A couple of strike days a month are not really going to hurt the pilot community. PS - Minty, their perks have been taken away, get with it!! | goblin99
18/9/2019 08:31 | Hmm. Maybe someone sold on the hope to buy back cheaper???? | hamhamham1
18/9/2019 08:15 | BA being to soft on BAAC pilots perks should be taken away for the striking pilots, not just threaten it.Sept Traffic and Capacity report will be down I would have thought with 3 days strikes and disruption.Hopefully back to 425p I want to fill my boots, lol. | montyhedge
17/9/2019 21:07 | goblin......" yet it is they who have shown the reasoned approach "...LOL Don't make me laugh......reasoned approach LOL | m1k3y1
17/9/2019 20:37 | Minty hasn't a clue what to do - confusion reigns with the price of oil and the strikes. Tries hedging his bets but can't even get that right. Says the pilots won't strike and then they do. Says Walsh will destroy the union and pilots will give in, yet the strikes continue. Says the loss of staff travel perks will make the pilots return, yet they don't. Says the pilots union hasn't a clue what they are doing, yet it is they who have shown the reasoned approach. Says it is Cruz who had shown the guile and leadership, yet he is nowhere to be seen. The realisation has dawned, Minty is auditioning fig a senior management role within BA! | goblin99
17/9/2019 17:05 | I was only speculating, he tone of posting usually determines the direction of his bet. | hamhamham1
17/9/2019 16:08 | Lol - and the house ramper went short earlier today eh? Hilarious. | fjgooner
17/9/2019 15:18 | Saudi's declare they will have production back on line in 2-3 weeks, much quicker than expected. Oil price tanks... | toon1966
17/9/2019 11:32 | Hello montys gone short ;) | hamhamham1
17/9/2019 08:33 | 7th October Traffic and capacity report announced for for September of course won't be good for 3 days of strikes and disruption.Probably be the worst months for about a year. | montyhedge
16/9/2019 18:08 | Norwegian Air is a dead man walking.Awful service, spoke to a friend who went with them, cheap but never fly again with them. | montyhedge
16/9/2019 17:50 | Norwegian haemorrhaging money like a severed artery . 300m isn't going to last long. Bondholders must be looking at the slots with anticipation. | m1k3y1
16/9/2019 17:29 | That's not the news I wanted holding RYA, hoped Norwegian would go this winter, having said that RYA is up about 20% since last month's lows. | essentialinvestor
16/9/2019 17:23 | TCG will go private with that Chinese company. | hamhamham1
16/9/2019 17:19 | Norwegian Air wins breathing space with £300m bondholder deal: Norwegian Air has struck a deal to restructure more than £300m of debts, giving the heavily indebted airline breathing space on its quest to return to profitability. Thomas Cook wins breathing space to secure backing for £1.1bn rescue deal: Thomas Cook has secured an extra week to hammer out a £1.1bn rescue deal, as debt speculators pile pressure on the troubled holiday company. TCG is in serious trouble, could be curtains for them before the end of October, can't see how they could last the winter. | neilrich
16/9/2019 14:52 | In a roundabout way, oil price rise may be good for IAG, couple of competitors may struggle, surely going to hit Norw Air and Thomas Cook. They have not got the money to hedge like IAG, 90% hedged. | montyhedge
16/9/2019 13:39 | Monty, I give you (FUL), my people in the City say buy on weakness, certainly some strong chunky buying coming in today. I am holding for a takeover. Dyor Adding on dips here, taking a few years time frame, reasons to be long term cheerful | ny boy

16/9/2019 11:05 | montyhedge 2 Aug '19 - 11:21 - 9193 of 9194 Brent oil going below $60 bonus. montyhedge 13 Sep '19 - 08:09 - 10713 of 10732 For me Brent oil below $60 is more important, 25% of airline costs is fuel. montyhedge 23 Aug '19 - 12:29 - 7036 of 7038 Short Shell, long airlines. | fjgooner
16/9/2019 10:24 | I can see revenge coming from the Saudis. The drones struck at the core of Aramco's oil processing. This is very bad PR for the proposed float of 1% of Aramco. It could be seen as a soft target again at any point in the future. The Saudis need to deter the aggressors of these type of attacks. | hamhamham1
16/9/2019 09:42 | Grasshopper you're not the grand master like me until Shield plc 275p. | montyhedge |
