06/7/2018 11:58 | If you google it you'll find reference to various forms that one can fill in and send off to the Spanish authorities to claim back.Maybe when my holding is larger i'll look at it more seriously. | chiefbrody
06/7/2018 11:52 | Its possible but it seems work for the stockbroker, perhaps a good broker would do it. Emailed my broker about refund, interesting to see what they say, will let you know. | montyhedge
06/7/2018 10:56 | Has anyone on this BB managed to reclaim the withholding tax ? | m1k3y1
06/7/2018 10:45 | And as a long term holder in IAG theres no need/reason to mislead... | chiefbrody
06/7/2018 10:44 | I still do not understand why we are unable to claim the withholding tax back , if shares are held as nominee, which most are these days . This is a substantial amount of money and it seems wrong we cannot reclaim it. hxxp://www.iairgroup | m1k3y1
06/7/2018 10:43 | I did say its what i/we get but aye, net is the word. | chiefbrody
06/7/2018 10:35 | Too right I'm not taking 20% off my numbers...when is yield ever listed as NET!! When you start coming out with 2.9%....please state the words after tax, or NET. Unless you're deliberately attempting to mislead?! | neilrich
06/7/2018 10:27 | Of course its right so say without the tax. I'm just going on what i get. | chiefbrody
06/7/2018 10:26 | You're probably not taking the 20% tax off your numbers...Based on the last 2 divs (history i know) its 2.9% after the tax.Assuming the div grows by 10% + and the x rate remains constant, i'd expect low 3.something yield next time. | chiefbrody
06/7/2018 10:10 | 2.9%? Perhaps you're getting confused with a second rate orange airline. The 2017 dividend is history, however was 3.5%, the forward looking yield is 3.9% based upon 29.27 cents per share (25.8p). Cover is 3.88. I'd expect IAG to be ahead of the consensus. | neilrich
06/7/2018 09:39 | Historical p.e at 840p is 10, so forecast p.e about 9 at 840p. Easyjet they say 2000p p.e 17. IAG would be about 1600p on that basis. But IAG is great for trading with no stamp duty. Momentum traders once it's starts running will push this a lot higher. | montyhedge
06/7/2018 08:35 | HSBC have a 2000p target price for EZJ, at that price P/E 17.3 for this year! However HSBC have a 570p target price for IAG, at this price the P/E would be 5.6! Clearly IAG is a basket case in the eyes of HSBC, despite a better dividend and dividend cover, revenue growing at approx 10%. I'd agree with Monty....p/e should be 10. | neilrich
06/7/2018 08:05 | Like I said at 840p, p.e 10 just seems a crazy price at 670p. | montyhedge
05/7/2018 23:14 | I have faith in both and expect them both to deliver long term.Expecting the IAG div to grow strongly in the coming years. | chiefbrody
05/7/2018 23:00 | Much hype around EZJ, lets hope that they can deliver. Less hype around IAG, better chance that we shall over deliver, beating the consensus. I know which share that I feel more comfortable holding, H1 four weeks Tomorrow! | neilrich
05/7/2018 22:48 | The market views EZJ as a growing airline though. In comparison, IAG is treated more like a utility with no growth forecast. | chiefbrody
05/7/2018 22:38 | Not impossible....especi | neilrich
05/7/2018 20:28 | Let's hope it flys to 840p, p.e still under 10 at that price. | montyhedge
05/7/2018 16:37 | International Airline Group carriers all saw improved load factors in June as overall traffic rose by 9.1% year-on-year. This came as overall capacity for the month grew by 5.4%. IAG airlines flew 10.6 million passengers last month, up 8.9% on June last year, with North American routes showing the strongest growth of 10.5%. The total carryings were below the 12.6 million passengers flown by budget rival Ryanair in June. The load factor at British Airways rose by 3.5 percentage points year-on-year in June to 87.1%, while Aer Lingus saw a rise of 2.2 percentage points to 89.1%. IAG confirmed last week that its low-cost arm Level would start short-haul operations from Vienna from July 17 with a plan to base four Airbus A321s at the Austrian airport to serve 14 European destinations. | neilrich
05/7/2018 07:20 | Surprise this is not over 700p, everything looking good, talk of 3rd runway knocked roughly 8% off shareprice. Crazy 12 years away, if built at all. Air travel set to double coming years. Need more runways anyway I would have thought. | montyhedge
04/7/2018 15:13 | STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENTS On 28 June, IAG launched its new shorthaul low-cost Austrian subsidiary, branded as LEVEL, with flights from Vienna starting on July 17, 2018. The new subsidiary will have an Austrian Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and will base four Airbus A321 aircraft in Vienna from where it will fly to 14 European destinations. On 25 June, the UK Parliament approved the expansion of Heathrow airport. IAG issued a statement which reiterated that expansion should be undertaken in a cost effective way and that the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), as regulator, must protect consumers by keeping airport charges flat. In June, British Airways announced that its initiative to turn landfill waste into sustainable jet fuel secured almost £5 million of funding from the UK Government and industry backers. This project will be undertaken in partnership with Velocys and aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions from aircraft by up to 70 per cent and particulate emissions by 90 per cent. On 26 June, Iberia took delivery of its first Airbus A350-900 which will operate its inaugural longhaul flight to New York in August. These aircraft feature 31 Business class full-flat seats, 24 Premium Economy and 293 Economy seats. Iberia will receive 15 more Airbus A350-900's by 2021. | neilrich
04/7/2018 15:12 | Group traffic in June, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometres, increased by 9.1 per cent versus June 2017; Group capacity measured in Available Seat Kilometres rose by 5.4 per cent. H1 results 4 weeks on Friday....should be ahead of expectations! | neilrich
04/7/2018 15:08 | The June Traffic STATS are very good. The group is up 9.1% Revenue passenger km. Even BA that has previously been a drag on the group is up 6.9%. | neilrich |
