This was the headline last Feb with the FY update.
This year is likely to be even better. |
The Times headline today...
Keir Starmer orders ministers to go for growth
PM tells business leaders that he will cut burdensome regulations and sets out plans for ‘every single’ part of government to focus on building the economy |
Reeves and Starmer both gotta get their growth guns out and give it both barrels. It is slightly amusing to watch them Trumpify themselves, but the truth is, growth is the only way out, and to get enough you really gotta go for it, like Trump is, not half assed like they were a few months ago!
Reeves needs to go from moping like Eeyore to bouncing around like Tigger, never underestimate to power of positivity :) |
Love that. Sooo true. As said before we have great contributors on here imo and theres no issue if someone shares a diff view but Andys is just coming from a bad bitter place with zero logic sadly. Anyway great buying opportunity as wont see these prices next month or poss for an awful long time imo. GLA |
Be interesting tomorrow morning if Reeves mentions about creating growth through an extra runway at Heathrow. |
Every IAG dip gets bought up, just BTFD! |
Market cap of £15.5bn This year's profit of say £3bn to £3.5bn? What's the PE on that? Hmmmm... I make that approx 5.1x to 4.4x? |
Like you did Andy when people topped up at 180 220 etc etc lol. Not sure why you post on here. 350 by end of Feb imo. Little dips along the way as we all know is the norm. Except our Andy lol |
I feel sorry for those who bought at the top last week :-( |
I had my broker di a Bed & Isa this morning, a good move as very little movement or loss of shares.
Gla |
Dip bought and blue now? |
Andy waiting on your post to give me the green light to start topping up. Just teasing but fancy 323 is it. GLA |
Yep there is that for sure. His main issue I sense will be how to avoid being a wanted man by his own if he signs off land. Tricky situ |
Loved that . Personally fairly certain Andy isnt invested. Just enjoys trying to be very silly. That or he really is and doesn't understand stocks go up and down lol. Expect to see this around 350 by Feb EOY and that's being conservative. Great weekend all. |
Looking back the down candle on 13.1 was snapped up and less than 2 weeks later IAG was 20p higher |
Except Zelenskyy who just wants moreMoney into his pockets like a zio? |
Andy, Even a nun's knickers has to come down at some point!!!
Keep the faith |
Shocking day. Thought this was meant to be going up and up forever? |
Nice thought provoking read Cyber. Certainly all poss. I watched a vid of Putin congratulating Trump the other day and he seemed happy to me . Trump as a deal maker I think they already both know something. Trump has a lot of options at his disposal to negotiate with and as hes not a fan of helping other countries and its USA first my gut says he will stop providing arms to Ukraine and allow Russia to stay in occupied territory for a return to the end of the war. Ukraine know they need their support so despite being a bitter pill to take re all those lives lost in vein I feel the majority of Ukraine just want an end to it. Just my hunch but will see. Meanwhile this still heading towards the predicted forecasts of many brokers. Happy Friday all |
mYbe I will be proved wrong but Trump's Davos call this afternoon suggests he will push hard on Saudi Arabia and OPEC to lower the oil price which would impact Russia and hope the effect that would bring an end to the war with Ukraine. Great if he can pull it off but linked to his aim of getting the oil price lower is that it would trigger a fall in interest rates. Well, he went even further than that to say that he will insist on interest rate reduction immediately. A lot of bluster from Trumo but who knows an early end to the Ukraine war and some accommodation on reducing sanctions would see the open skies for direct flights over Russia IF his will prevails with Putin, Interesting times ahead! |
OTB for me, related sector. |
Quite concentrated in AA4, IAG and recently Uber (yes all travel but it's the sector I understand). |
What else is everyone invested in? |
