Getting years ahead of yourself. 300p to attempt first. Then a period of consolidation. Cannot go up in a straight line forever. |
Great input Spitfire over the last 6 months or more. Probably more upside to come but have added more to my LGEN stock holding as Dividend very attractive and well covered after today's update. However, as I have mentioned before MOMENTUM is the key to watch and be guided and IAG has certainly got that in spades!!! |
Next stop 500p ? |
If you missed the investor webinar yesterday from Stuart Morgan, Head of Investor Relations at IAG you can catch up here. |
What a wonderful day up up and up we go. |
JPMORGAN RAISES IAG PRICE TARGET TO 5 (3.40) EUR - 'OVERWEIGHT' |
Rolls is a x 10 bagger from its recent low. iAG will never do that but I suppose 3-5 x the low is entirely possible in time. That said. Rolls has a high PE now and airlines are not afforded that luxury. So hard to match when the sector is rated so poorly. |
Hopefully this will be another Rolls Royce |
Thanks for posting that BC.Particularly liked this paragraph :If global conflict has peaked in 2024, and we can be a bit more optimistic for 2025, then yes, despite IAG rising 55% since August to around 250p, it should continue to mean-revert into its pre-Covid range of 270-470p. |

#IAG are holding a webinar for private investors today at 12.30pm. Stuart provide an introduction to IAG and update on performance following the strong Q3 results on 8 November and the Investor Insights day on 26 November Register: |
When you consider the geo back drop as Cyber mentions and the odd internal issue incl RR supply issues and then see how this stock has STILL performed it demonstrates just how under valued it still is for me. The recovery from Covid continues very well and good forward planning taken for Q4 already enhances the confidence so many have at the moment. Exciting times and with no exaggeration one of the great opportunities I've seen with highest likelihood of more to come for a very long time. |
Always keep ones core holding when a share has momentum like IAG. The company still has IT issues which hopefully they can give a higher priority. We recently had a poor example but in the scheme of things their shortfall in IT is something I am sure they will improve, The Geo-political outlook has improved and may get better once Trump sorts out the Ukraine/Russia situation which continues to be a drag on flight costs to the Far East and beyond. |

strapped in for 500p |
Is everybody happy ? Yer bet yer life we are . |
Currently the cash is being used to clear debt. It will be debt free within 18 months if cash generation continues. The cash generated turns to profit if it is not retained for further investment in assets by the company. |
Good reaction to Investment day yesterday.Hearing lots of v good vibes around . GLA |
Yeh hopefully peace will be back on the agenda now the war mongering democrats have been well and truly booted out of office. |
We hopefully have two wars about to end after January 17 th |
lol 12 billion. Not true. Numbers are great but let's keep things in perspective. PE is low (5 ish) but will always remain low. This is a very high risk sector. If profits rise a bit more then so will the share price Hell PE might improve a bit. Adding a chunk to the share price If IAG can buyback circa 2 billion shares, the share price could double from here. This takes us back to pre Covid times and hopefully a share price of 6 quid. |
£12bn would equate to 100p a share profit. PE of 7 would put shares at 700p as the fool says. |
Company is generating £12bn a year cash which is paying off debt at a rate of knots. Listen to the fools. When the debt has gone it will flow to the bottom line to become cash on balance sheet. Listen to the fool don't be one. |
