Suspect we'll get at least a 5p div come results next Feb/Mar too. I don't subscribe to the share price going to 4 quid and beyond (far too risky a stock to have a high P/E), but with this level of performance we shouldn't see a share price starting with a 1 again (until the next global meltdown). |
9 months eps 40p. Say 50p for FY. 2.50 share price PE of about 5. Almost back to pre Covid levels then. 3 quid might be attainable in the next year or so. Neutral on the buyback. Some work. Some don't. Better to do them now than later though (assuming share price is higher). |
Fab reaction to good results. Onwards and upwards..... best Covid recovery stock there is imo. GLA |
It's called greed!?
I sold all after holding for many yrs on 30/8/24 @ 183.
Fast forward to today, selling the same today would had netted me a further £10k!!
Yep, it's called.Greed,

Excellent results despite the flight cancellations going forward and spare parts issue. Looks like a safe hold despite the latter. |
Not true Blachorse.Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. ("Qatar Airways") has agreed to participate in the Programme on a pro rata basis so as to maintain its current aggregate stake in IAG (25.143% of its share capital). For such purpose, arrangements have been entered into between Qatar Airways, GS and MS pursuant to which Qatar Airways has agreed not to sell IAG shares in the market during the Programme but instead to sell to GS and MS, as applicable, on each trading day during the Programme (for on-sale to IAG) a number of shares proportionate to the number of shares bought by GS or MS, as applicable, in the market on each trading day, and at a price per share equal to the volume weighted average price at which GS or MS, as applicable, has purchased such shares on the market on such trading day. |
Share buy back only to buy Qatar shares , not from market |

Some long auction 😀 |
In auction! Looks like a nice jump up off these great results |
Wow! What a superb read |
Another 3bn paid off debt. 47.6c EPS. 10pc increase on last yrs figure. Debt to EBITA now only 1 from a year ago 1.7.At this rate debt free in18 months. Increased op margin to 13.8 %. |
Good luck for tomorrow everyone. I'm hoping for good things but with the recent share price rise I worry about market expectations. I'm sure progress is being made it's just how much. Fingers crossed. |
Q3 results will probably be less than spectacular but long term it's all about debt repayment figure but Heathrow seems to be firing on all 4 cylinders. |
Air France KLM poor results putting the brakes on yesterday’s spike.
Not looking good imho. |
Agree 1spitfire |
Just to add it's just noise what other airlines are doing. Has very little impact and can act conversely. If one airline struggles another can benefit type of thing. Dog eat dog industry. GLA |
You can be fairly sure Q3 results related .Nothing to panic about but just a little reset imo due impact of known supply issues and higher than normal long haul cancellations. The majority of which are for the next quarter. |
Also the market did not like KLM-AIR FRANCE Q3. Share price down 9%. |
RR. down 4.32% |
Anyone aware of the reason for the drop today? |
Good to see the Dems get dumped on.Freedom wins over oppression. |
