Major global stock markets will be dictated by the U.S. stock market, which in turn will be dictated by the unemployed claims, which is reported to have risen to 30,000,000. in six weeks. U.S. virus deaths have topped 61,000.

Yep, there will be down days and up days, grouped together no doubt, I believe the markets will move sideways for a whole now overall. (With yesterday being the top of the range). Until major news comes what ever that is. Lets see.
Maybe the FTSE100 range could be approx 5500 to 6100, give or take 100 pts, about a 10% spread, but pure guess work???? Coronavirus news is everything.

Airbus the aerospace giant is developing a modification for A330 and A350 family aircraft which will enable airlines to install freight pallets directly onto the cabin floor seat tracks, after removal of the economy-class seats.

Compared with loading cargo onto seats, this Airbus solution facilitates easier and quicker loading and unloading operations.

Other important benefits include the added security of robust fire protection, and the 9g load restraint capability to prevent anything from shifting in flight.

Only a small punt. Time will tell. I would be more worried if I bought heavily into a single stock or multiple stocks which were loss making before this crisis. The sitiation now will just exaggerate their losses and loans will be at killer premiums.

Air France must slash domestic flights and agree to work towards becoming the world’s “most environmentally friendly” airline, if it is to satisfy the conditions of its government bailout of €4 billion ($4.4 billion) to Air France-KLM and Air France, in addition to a direct shareholder’s loan of €3 billion to the Franco-Dutch airline group. The French government is also calling on Air France to renew its fleet with more efficient aircraft.

KLM is also in line to receive €2-4 billion in financial support from the Dutch government, but the country’s finance ministry has said the airline must contribute environmentally, by reducing the number of night flights, as part of the deal.

I think all 12,000 will be worried 962.........
It's appalling behaviour by Walsh.

I don't see any of the BoD offering to cut their pay to 0% for the good of the airline.
Maybe they should take an example from the BoD of United Airlines.
