Dont just look at FTSE levels over 30 years, look at individual share prices. Market capital and share prices are not always directly incremental.

The truth is most companies will come out of this with less profit, more debt laiden , diluted and less in the bank.
Share prices may need to be recalculated.

We all know planes are super spreaders of cold, flu etc.I fly a lot, now I won't until vaccine, I'm sure I'm not the only one. How come this is not 165p, market cap 4 billion, ridiculously high for the uncertainty.

Delta Air Lines has announced it proposes to commence a private senior secured notes offering of USD 1.5 billion due 2025, the company said.

The company also announced it intends to enter into a new USD 1.5 billion Term Loan B facility due 2023 concurrent with the closing of the offering of the notes.

Toon - I disagree with this. The Southern part of country is so reliant on tourism that they will look at all options for getting people back in.You may be right - I am no expert but they rely on tourism far more than the UK. They do not have the bailout funds that US and U.K. have - all those hotels on south coast!!!! Can you imagine how they will survive

I am sure BA will survive but I am not sure whether the IAG group will stay intact with the other airlines .Can you believe IAG own 3 Spanish airlines and be 4 if they bought Air Europa

Carter, a country like Spain will be very nervous about receiving an influx of tourists this year or next year. Remember 18 million UK tourists visited Spain in 2019.

I'm at LHR and funnily enough they're expecting end of 2022/ start of 2023 to get back to 100% operational so Logan isn't far wrong with LGW... But it's all based on worst case scenario planning. People are desperate to get on holiday after all of this - bums will fill plane seats and the prices of those trips will be the lowest we've seen in a while
