Unfortunately, IAG is a pension in deficit which owns an airline, hence its discount to Ryanair.

Ryainair is a growth story (though growth is arguably near an end now). IAG is a boring old utility of an airline. Well thats what Mr Market thinks.

does IAG generate more profit than Ryanair? is it my impression that Ryanair only generates about a billion while IAG makes much more profit? If so how come the market cap of Ryanair is 13 billion eur while that of IAG is 10.2 billion gbp?

IAG figures next Thursday 31st Oct, Brexit day, could we have a double bonus, Brexit deal and good figures. Another bumper dividend is expected, I think 15% increase.8 billion cash in the bank give some back to shareholders.

This shareprice could double and p.e still below 10.

If Brexit deal, I would have thought they go back into the MSCI GLOBAL INDEX, they had to leave because of fear of foreign ownership rules, those funds would surely have to get their allocation back up.

No one went hungry taking a profit. If Boris wins Tuesday a bumper rise in the shareprice leading up to the figures.

Yes Monty, big players entering the uk equity markets now on the back of Boris winning GE by a landslide.

Not long for (STX) huge US commercialisation deal, either.

Onwards & upwards
