About time we had this bounce. The 'Brexit' concerns were well overdone here.We are unlikely as a country to suffer a recession now after positive pmi data, and the US airlines all had big moves up yesterday.Analysis yesterday clobbered Air France/KLM and Lufthansa as needing major structural reform, whereas IAG was regarded as 'best in class' with a 'buy' rating reaffirmed.August traffic stats were good news,so this leg up was overdue.

I've ceased trying to understand the movements of this share price.UK banks up,so theoretically this share should rise as a correlation/proxy to better economic data coming through. The strengthening dollar/lowered oil price obviously has trumped this investment theory today,so the share price descends 2.5%!!! Oh well,on to the next theory...........

Katla very active again. 3 big tremors and one 4.5 on the R scale.

edit:

Now being reported:
"Two earthquakes of magnitude 4.6 and 4.5 hit Katla volcano in Mýrdalsjö;kull glacier last night, followed by a series of aftershocks. These are the largest quakes to hit Katla since 1977, when a 5.1 earthquake was measured there.

Two earthquake swarms occurred in the Katla caldera last night. The first was picked up around 1:30 am and comprised of ten earthquakes, the largest of which was magnitude 2.4. The 4.6 and 4.5 quakes were part of the second earthquake swarm which began at 1:41 am. The area has been mostly quiet since".

Morning all.
Be nice to see this one perk up a bit. Still getting hammered by the looks of it. Bought heavily into this sector recently. EZJ paying off. Only a matter of time here.

Trade well and prosper.......

British Airways owner IAG shed 9.1p, or 2.3pc, to 385.2p, as trade union Unite urged the airline to drop its new Dashboard Performance Management scheme after its cabin crew voted in favour of industrial action. The trade union believes the performance scheme could lead to job losses in the future. Its peer easyJet dipped 13p to £10.47.

Whilst the director's and senior managers at IAG share £125m of shares bought in the open market smells rotten. Add that to the 20% stake help by a Middle East state with a poor human rights record.
