By the way --- Luxfer were demonstrating their Zero Emission Generators to the US MILITARY LAST OCTOBER that now use IEH fuel cells operating at 98% efficiency instead of 60% using Plug Power. And they are collaborating together marketing the Gen Sets using the IEH international network.

Oi! bug, Why try to bury this info, let investors make an informed choice.

The truth is far powerful than lies in the game that is built on lies and manipulations.

Cash burn rate is what £1,600,000 per month?
Cash in March 2017 was c £13,000,000?
Divide £13,000,000 by £1,600,000 you get what?

8 months?

Today we are at end of May?

5 Months time the company is out of cash and likely out of business?

If not out of business, because it secures further cash by way of further Convertible Loan Notes, what does this mean for you? more dilution! more dilution means your "investment" is devalued or in layman's terms you just lost money doing noting more than holding on to potentially worthless very high risk shares.

This is above and beyond 375m shares @8p that can and most likely be dropped like a bomb soon as this hits above 8p, or unless they decide to call it quits and offload them at whatever they can sell, to likes of you!

The loan note can convert into shares at the
holder's discretion up to maturity at 8p per
ordinary share.

Full conversion would represent
375m new ordinary shares, compared to the current
issued share capital of the Company

see "Results for year ended 30 September 2016"

My previous recommendation was 6p entry for 12p exit ride.

Now it is 3p entry for 8p exit ride.

Send this post to the regulators for me

Well spotted ibug ... I'd have thought IEH were well aware if this. They have a track record of success in this arena. It's not just cleaning up the air in the EEA the EU want ... there's serious dosh to be made cleaning the planet's air along with the possibilities powering new tech with HFCs .... robots, drones, cars, micro power grids, space, aviation, cars, PEDs, water purification, mobile phone towers, research, satellites ..... for exactly the same reasons HFCs outperform batteries in drones, HFCs will revolutionise the world as far as supplying power is concerned.

The interest on the loan notes is being paid every month and they are not due for repayment until 2019. Its a risk that could be mitigated with more commercial contracts or a long term 5 year bond.

I think I ran out of characters ... ... anyway ... yes, I'd rather the loan notes were not there but when I look at the applications for HFCs, IEH's IP portfolio and the take up of the tech since I started watching this market, I'm really very relaxed about the situation ... very relaxed indeed.

There are some ex ARM Holdings people at IEH and the business plan always seems to have been along the lines of ARM Holdings ... get loads of Intellectual Property (IP) ... patents and licence them to those people who want to make their own HFCs. Yes, IEH CAN make HFCs and need to be able to so that the performance of their IP can be seen in action and tested by people who want to licence the tech into their own versions ... but the question stil remains ... what's IEH's portfolio of IP worth? Now, it could be worth nothing .... but then, you have to ask, if IEH's tech is such pants, why does the EU constantly have them leading projects into the design of HFCs and then the mass production of HFCs?

Bearing in mind what Ballard's deal with Audi / VW was worth ... a similar deal with ... say Ford (who are not exactly blazing a trail when it comes to ZEVs (Zero Emission Vehicles) and have just sacked their CEO allegedly, partly because the brand appears to be stagnating under him ... IEH's market cap is currently 14 million quid ish .... the Ballard / VW deal was worth 80 million dollars .... a deal like that would make the loan notes issue pretty irrelevant and still make IEH a good deal if not a multi bagger.

Ballard's management were slated for doing the VW / Audi deal as they could have supposedly made far more ... albeit at a slower pace in the long term by leasing the tech ... so far IEH have not been in such dire straits they have mooted selling off any IP .... so, as far as the BOD is concerned, the loan notes deal made far more sense than selling off some PEM IP ... but that is STILL an option they have when it comes to raising dosh.

If IEH's tech is pants and the IP portfolio worth as much as a strong and stable Theresa May, their BOD has played an absolute blinder conning the EU into letting them lead the EU projects and Suzuki into forming the SMILE FC Systems Corporation ..... I am quite certain that in the future, many personal electronic devices will run on HFCs ... at least partly and the embedded HFCs will use some of IEH's tech .... already, the technical possibilities of smartphones are being held back by the power supply issues .... you can get insane power into a tablet or even a smartphone but how do you power it?

Next, we have the military and the adoption of robots ... are these robots going to be tethered by cables to power outlest or are they going to be free moving? Like the drones, HFCs provide far more possibilities robots for compared to using batteries.

The potential for IEH's IP value is crazy ... which is why almost doubling the number of shares in circulation isn't much of an issue for people looking for somewhere to park their cash long term. Traders may not like IEH but there are better shares for them to ramp and deramp .... IEH sometimes spikes to 24.5 ..... so from current levels ... the loan notes aren't a huge worry for me .... and I have faith that at any time, IEH can find someone who will buy some of their IP for sums that make the loan notes issue

MORE BUSINESS IS LIKELY TO ARRIVE FROM SUZUKI AND THE 10 YEAR PARTNERING WITH IEH

Suzuki Bergman --- It may be said that the catalyst of change for the Suzuki Bergman will likely happen this summer when the London Police compete trials of the scooter and place their first order. Should that happen then we can start to expect other police forces in the UK and Europe to follow their example.

The Bergman was approved by the EU for mass production in late 2015 and has already been road tested etc. It is currently under going road testing in Japan. The time is becoming ripe for the first H2 powered scooters and motorcycles to be released because of more widespread availability of refueling stations in the USA, Uk, EU and Japan. Making the scooter a viable commercial opportunity.

In Europe, fuel cell production facilities will begin pumping out 50,000 fuel cell stacks by the year 2020, making United Kingdom-based Intelligent Energy the market leader in bringing the green technology to the masses. “Hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles are available now, but to continue to drive customer adoption, we need to ensure future fuel cell stacks are robustly industrialised and remain cost competitive in the future,” said the company’s Manufacturing Head Richard Peart.

PINC Brings RFID, Optic Sensor Drones Indoors With Fuel Cells

in RFID News on May 17, 2017. 0 Comments

PINC, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology company, has begun powering its drones with air-cooled fuel-cell systems provided by Intelligent Energy as an alternative to batteries, in order to offer lower-weight, longer-flight-time solutions that have less impact on the environment.

The fuel cells will help enable the use of drones indoors to track inventory and other details about products in the tight quarters of a warehouse.

Feel bad for my post, but that bug really bugs me.

Onto other matters ... Ford just dumped their CEO ... their share price has fallen by 30% since he's been at the helm ... Ford haven't exactly been leading the race to zero emmission vehicles ... if any company, like Ford, need to "catch up" with the likes of Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Suzuki etc. they either spend a fortune on R&D trying to discover stuff that hasn't already been patented or ... they license or buy the IP from people like IEH ... or do a JV with them ... we have yet to see to what extent IEH have been working with the major players ... I seem to remember at some time IEH claimed to be working with 25% of the world's car makers ... it won't be until HFC vehicles become more mainstream we will start to see how much IEH IP is being used under license in these vehicles. There is still something of a battle going on between EVs and HFC powered vehicles ... personally, I see hydrogen winning ... why? Because people can gerate their own electricity by fitting solar panels to their rooves. If people drive around on sunshine, where does the government get its cut? Hydrogen? You just add hydrogen pumps to the current vehicle servicing infrastructure and put a duty on hydrogen as was the case with fuel ... it is this danger of people getting about in electric vehicles almost for free using electricity they generate themselves which scares governments. Making your own hydrogen at home is more involved ...

I still think IEH has too much going for it to become "worthless". Galashiels ... talk us through this then ... so the convertable loan notes are converted ... less assume that ... then what? You seem to be arguing that no firm raises finance by placings or issuing loan notes is a success. I Think this is how the market is supposed to work. If you assume, as Yahoo do that the company'saltogether, probably worth 1.3 billion quid, that puts the current shares in circulation as worth 5 quid each ... double the number of shares in circulation, it's worth 2.5 quid a share ... if they IEH could OBVIOUSLY cut their cash burn to almost zero and just sit back and licemse their tech bringing in almost pure profit .... income from their work over many years. Galashiels, what do you think IEH's IP is worth if any of it was sold off?

NET ASSETS ---- In the published accounts the company have stated net fixed assets of 43 million GBP minus the 31 million loan which gives a reduced asset value of 12.1 million GBP as at October 2016. Plus they stated last March that they had 12 million GBP in cash due to a customer payment last November.

That means the loan is covered by the value of assets excluding the value of the intellectual property value which may be worth as much as 1.32 Billion GBP, (cited by Yahoo Finance). The loan is secured with 22% of issued shares and interest is paid every month.

The cash burn is 1.2 million/month net of tax and with every new customer contract that cash burn number reduces. So far the company have secured four new commercial long term contracts; which the company have said are long term relationships.

It has been clearly indicated that the company are expecting business from Suzuki using fuels cells for their Bergman Scooter and Off Road Motorcycle.

In addition to that it has been reported that the company are preparing to design and build an HFC production line to produce 50,000 100KW fuel cells aimed at the transport industry as a collaboration with Toyota. That development will certainly enhance the mass production for the entire range of products that IEH have so far designed and produced.

BASED ON THAT FUTURE FUNDING SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM IF IT IS NEEDED imo.

PLENTY OF POTENTIAL HERE IMO

Here is a clue about what IEH is most interested with from their website just this week.

Expecting a lot more news about UAV's/ Drones in Japan/USA + mobile power systems and home micro grids.

Intelligent Energy will be showcasing its air cooled fuel cell stacks at the event, and Dr Lee Juby, Business Development Director at Intelligent Energy, will be speaking about the wide range of applications fuel cells can be used for.

Dr Juby said: “There is massive potential for fuel cells and here at Intelligent Energy we develop and manufacture modular air cooled fuel cell stacks and systems that can be used in a wide variety of applications from two and four wheeled motive, stationary and distributed power to lightweight stacks specially developed for the aerial drone markets.
