21/1/2020 13:59 | Yes can sell 50k at 72p and smaller numbers at a premium online. Looks ready to tick up.! | doc robinson
21/1/2020 11:51 | appears to be some strong underlying demand at the moment. can sell over 50k currently. don't remember ever seeing that since my first purchase in Dec 16 | gleach23
21/1/2020 11:10 | teddyboy1 - re-read your post & you'll see it's totally illogical. beetrootjuice constantly talks up IDP, frequently predicting a meteoric share price rise. No harm at all in that - it's what any holder would like to see. But I'd argue his optimism isn't even vaguely plausible. And certainly not within the timescales given. You, too, find his optimism misguided, constantly highlighting the downside to IDP (for now at least). So how can he be talking "a lot of sense", when you totally disagree with his conclusions? Unless of course you're the one talking garbage.... TBH, I think you're both woefully wide of the mark, which is why I suggest "topping & tailing" this bulletin board & ignoring the two of you. It's certainly what I'll be doing for the foreseeable. Adios amigos. | lord loads of lolly
21/1/2020 09:29 | Hi BEETROOT JUICE. Don't let them get to you! Stick to your beliefs/principles . I ,for one, think that you talk a lot of sense . Too many on this forum are relying on HOPE that this share will come good but there are absolutely no guarantees and based on what has gone before I would argue that the chance of making any decent money on this share is very much on the downside! | teddy boy1
20/1/2020 22:37 | I agree..Lets wait and see..Night to you also... | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 22:33 | beetrootjuice - sadly, I CAN actually believe you’d pay 40% over the current odds for a shedload of highly volatile shares. They may come good eventually. They may not. I hope they do for both our sakes. But sadly, taking a huge gamble on them won’t alter the odds one jot. Good luck (I fear you may need it). Over & out. | lord loads of lolly
20/1/2020 22:33 | Or we await that time. And you apologise for your demeaning and somewhat arrogant attitude. A Sort or Supercilious small time investor attitude, held by someone who thinks he knows how to value a thing. Those guys always mess up, their logic dis-allows risk. Or perceived risk..Me I love Risk.. I like being in a corner...Watch as IDP blow my Holding out of the corner in to pretty decent profit.. By the way i think 100% is meagre, i would prefer more but will take 100% here as its taken a little longer than i expected, for these to re-pay my confidence in them, back.. Lets wait and see what occurs over the next 12 months. | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 22:23 | And some times..Mistakes really are not..Meaning if i had not bought early, i would probably never have bought in here. So its sort of Meant to be, i got tied in.. That to me is never to be ignored. My instincts are sharp. And as i found myself more and more committed with a lower and lower average. I reached, as i have now an excelent position. A Big holding, @120p. If these move, which they will, quickly one day, then 120p Plus will be hit on the same day. It then will be Impossible to build anything of size.. And todays 72p will look like a total gift. So the share price is actually a minor issue just now. When these come good, which they assuredly will. Call me a fool then.. | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 22:13 | Maybe i post a Screen shot of my Account..Then. You may want to call me for what you deem a foolish purchase..But do not suggest i am a Liar. | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 22:11 | Ive posted before My then current shareholding. Was approx 200k shares at that point..I think you will find others can verify this. Anyway since then i have averaged down further. Its only a minor amount of my Net Worth. So there is the difference between me and you. I generated monies by knowing when i made an error and then knowing how to capitalise on it.. Ie Yes i bought early and way to high. But from near 400p and just 40k shares as pointed out before im just under the declaration threshold @121p average. I never sell at a loss. Just the way i operate. You never know who your talking to Lorry on these boards..Do You? Its an irrelevance if you think i have or Have not near 500k of these, i do. But you cannot fathom why a guy who can spend near £550k on shares acts like a? Well Idiot:) Can you? | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 22:02 | So beetrootjuice owns just under 3% of IDP. And remind me someone, what’s the minimum level for compulsory disclosure of a shareholding? Oh yeah, 3%. Jeez, what a coincidence. Still goes some way to explaining the bullish stance, given his average 120p buy price. Personally I’d be bricking it. | lord loads of lolly
20/1/2020 18:49 | COLDSPRING - I think you will have to agree with me that not many other popular shares go up and down with the frequency and extremes of IDP . Obviously you are not one of those traders who are "milking" this shares for all it is worth! | teddy boy1
20/1/2020 17:46 | Your prediction seems to be that IDP shares go up and down........absolute | coldspring
20/1/2020 17:34 | Beetroot Juice- I ,personally ,am happy to be judged on the accuracy of my "predictions". I have a feeling that it could well be a case of "I told you so" to the people who TRY to mock me ! | teddy boy1
20/1/2020 16:40 | I'd say you're right about eventual value. .Remember institutions were paying 276p in a placing just over 2 years ago. And not much has fundamentally changed. One thing that could scupper you doubling is a takeover on the cheap. | boonboon
20/1/2020 16:08 | I might act like a fool, but i am far from being one.. | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 16:07 | Pragmatic not optimistic Lolly. Big difference, i would not have committed what i have done here if i was not 100% certain..Which i am, that i will double my money and my average is 120p still. Probably hold the most shares of any poster on here..Indeed i know i do, just a tad under 3%. | beetroot juice
20/1/2020 15:37 | That strategy seems to apply to most of the boards here. It's the posters with the most extreme views that have the most to say. BTW I'm here for the long term. | filthy rich
20/1/2020 15:16 | muzmanoz - I've found the best answer is to 'top & tail' this BB. Ignore the eternal doomster/shorter? (teddy) & the hopeless optimist (beetroot juice). What you're left with in the middle makes for rational reading. | lord loads of lolly
20/1/2020 14:44 | I thought you weren't posting anymore teddy. That was the best piece of news I'd had for a while. Back to it's all the illuminati again. | muzmanoz
20/1/2020 14:33 | When the IDP share price spikes as it has done in the last 2 or 3 days you can be sure that this will shortly be followed by a fall Our happy band of IDP traders have great big smiles on their faces, licking their lips in anticipation. Just see if a right, yet again! | teddy boy1
20/1/2020 11:25 | Kieran mentions that research has shown people who buy tanning products also buy products in the new category.https://www | boonboon
20/1/2020 10:38 | Funny old share IDP. Down at 62p then up at 70p. It does look cheap though. Quant in my limited experience of the female body those who use self tanning products tend to have fairer skin therefore they are not the biggest users of hair removal products other than razors. I'd go so far as to say they are almost two different customer bases with limited overlap. | kinwah |
