23/6/2019 16:54 | Over 1.2 million readers to nice | dmk1198
23/6/2019 16:25 | Skinny tan serum wins best review in today's sun on Sunday page 36Good stuff and nice exposure | dmk1198
21/6/2019 16:01 | i always assumed good whether was good for this type of product but after last year I am not sure i think there is more use of tan before people going on holiday away from the uk and in good weather many stay in the country like last year but slowly we should reduce the gap as more and more product are not seasonal and i hope they still doing well | jovi1
20/6/2019 13:09 | It's swings and roundabouts. The hot weather earlier in the year probably extended the peak season. It started earlier and we had some strong sales. Possibly could do with the weather being a bit better. However I don't think it's just the weather that dictates the peak season. It's also wedding season, days out at the races, etc. So I don't think the weather will have too big an impact overall. | boonboon
20/6/2019 12:49 | Anyone have any views on whether current bad summer weather would be positive or negative for IDP? Would customers reach for fake tan more due to the lack of sun? Or is warmer weather needed before peeps start thinking about their summer hols and tans? | lord loads of lolly
20/6/2019 12:40 | Whilst primarily a wholesaler, its business resembles other retailers in that it's highly seasonal. Around 60% of total turnover (and almost all profit) depends on one half of the year. But unlike most other retailers where the build up to Christmas is key, in IDP's case it's the 6 months from Jan to June, given ST's seasonality. | lord loads of lolly
20/6/2019 11:49 | The trouble with IDP is it is so furiously weighted in H2 sales. The directors will struggle to know the rough finish until it actually happens. For me, this is where the risk lies and why until we actually see the RNS for FY, I don't think anything is for granted here. I found out a family member followed me into this stock and didn't sell, so I am now invested again, as I am now managing part of their portfolio. Fingers crossed for good results! | rawnsley
20/6/2019 10:50 | IDP's trading update for the half year ended 31 Dec 18 was published on 10 Jan 19. So I'd expect a trading update for the full year ended 30 June 19 around the second week of July at the earliest. | lord loads of lolly
20/6/2019 08:21 | Agreed Connor my thoughts too. | bigfrocks
20/6/2019 08:19 | BF, I think the company want to avoid the situation they had last year where they guided £11m but FY was £10.7. If we need to wait a little longer for a more accurate result I'm happy with that. That being said my expectation is we will see something early next week. Hopefully the weather this wkd and the offers this week will give us one final heave towards the FY19 target. | connor23
20/6/2019 07:53 | Rising up the most popular chart at Next directory appears very promising.! | doc robinson
19/6/2019 13:46 | A couple of knocks on the £1 door so far this week. A few decent buys this afternoon and it could well be passed.DTC is on for a strong day again today with new Serum offers. Not at the level of yesterday but still very good volumes. | tallprawn
19/6/2019 10:58 | So ST is or will be in Next, Tesco, Superdrug and boots.......M&S and possibly Sainsburys and for me thats all the major retail chains covered? Global domination awaits, ramptastic post if ever I wrote one lol | coldspring
19/6/2019 10:26 | Sales at next appear to be gaining traction, skinnytan mousse was 72 on sat now 47 in most popular section all good news. | doc robinson
19/6/2019 09:54 | Itching to go north this! Update imminent | bigfrocks
18/6/2019 22:13 | Tall ? I always appreciate the Stirling work you do tracking! Got a good feeling about results this time round, like they said in the last release they've changed there approach with dtc and I think it's bearing fruit ? | bigfrocks
18/6/2019 19:33 | You're likely to miss out on 15%-20% by waiting but I understand why you'd want to wait in the circumstance. On a different subject - We're just about to pass 3000 units on the £10 Tuesday 1 day offer. I'll post some figures later this evening - We're on track for the 2nd or 3rd highest day of the year so far that I've tracked - Not bad considering the naff weather! | tallprawn
18/6/2019 19:25 | I hope u boys are right - the market has this priced to breakeven - if it makes £1m and rapidly growing a pe of 30 - 40 wwould be about right which means an share price of well over £2 - as I say the market thinks we will break even this year. Hope the market and I am wrong - will be buying if we record a profit. | pakenham
18/6/2019 19:14 | The last update was on 21st Feb - FY forecasts have been in place since at least then.Any company on the main market needs to declare if profit guidance is going to miss forecasts by over 10% in pretty much all cases. If FY profit was going to be under £1m, we would have heard about this a long time ago.I'm with Boon, I'd be amazed if we see anything under £1m. That would be a brazen flouting of market regulations on the case of both IDP and FinnCap. It's just not going to happen. | tallprawn
18/6/2019 18:43 | Let's agree to disagree. Anything under £0.5million profit and the market won't like it imo. Hopefully we won't find out as I'm expecting £1million plusLet's not forget in 2017 they made over £1million profit after a first half loss on annual turnover of less than £8million | boonboon
18/6/2019 18:37 | If it beats 10.4m and sets for record year and from share price lows and breaks even that will be great... expecting nothing more - cheap on the trajectory. If TU indicates a profit for current year which ends in two weeks with much more expected next year I'll happily add heavily. Any profit after H1 will be extraordinary but not expecting it. | pakenham
18/6/2019 18:30 | so that’s 14.4m according to this. I strongly doubt they will get over 13m revenue let alone 14m. Happy to be proved wrong. | honeybadger1 |
