Just posted on lse

So i have just tried what Greg use to do below and added all 5 of the roots items to my basket. They have 99 of all items in stock bar the dandruff shampoo where they have 88. This means they have massively stocked up on IDP products and bodes very well for our financials. I have created a spreadsheet so will look again tomorrow and see whats changed and update here :)

OPODIO - BORING,BORING,BORING! If you really hold this share why do you try (without a lot of success ) to rubbish it. ? There is probably a very good explanation why H C sold. Other investors buy and sell for personal reasons .Why shouldn,t he? Give it a rest!

good point Harris did take £1.5m by dumping shares, that was the second big dump thks year or was it the third. Why should otyhers have faith when he clearly does not

Teddy the markets are down in general today due to the dow so nothings is up here. Also it's the norm for Oct with Nov and Dec always picking backup so hold firm or add imo. I quite often add in Oct as I have done today. Not idp unfortunately as fully invested here but some others. Greg basically feels hard done by in light of HC selling I think. Probably he missed selling at the highs and wants to somehow get back via the bb forums and rubbishing the share.

No new news this morning or updates and on modest trading the bid price gets dropped from 111p to 105P .Is this really necessary ? NO! There is something afoot again ,in my view (almost a daily occurance with this share!) A mini tree shake ,perhaps ,but one way or another it is very clear that the Market Makers are very keen to get hold of our shares! Another big order being filled,I suspect. Keep an eye out for large buys along the way today as these "sold" shares are bundled up and given over to our suiter.

GREGPECK -You are definitely a perfect example of "good cop" turned "bad cop"

May I respectfully suggest that you email INVESTOR RELATIONS at IDP for an answer to your burning questions which you keep repeating again and again, (very boring!) instead of keep trying to mud the waters.

You will find that they are pretty good at getting back to you with good honest answers.

I have a feeling that most people on this forum (and also on the LSE on) are now ignoring you but for those who aren,t ,may I suggest that they do ,starting from now !

Greg you do realise, many successful millionaires have many failed businesses. They are not magicians and sometimes ventures fail. But what marks them apart is the ability to pick themselves up and try again. You really do need to either find the entry point you are after here or perhaps do some sort of relaxation zzz. It doesn't matter if he created skinny tan or not, What he did do is have the foresight to get it where it is today along with this company as a whole

I am just sharing with you the benefit of my thoughts... I would personally not call hc a 'great man'... maybe I'll take the sky news description and ask him why he was called the gypsy king and what happened to your other 3 ventures? Has Kieron arrived hot on the heels of one failing? Still can't help laughing when I read his linked in article boasting about his capital raise at endulj and how successful it was and endulj will be and 12 months later he lands here with no reference to this alleged 'success' with the company seemingly not trading anymore.. as the sky interviewer said to hc.. your business's are very diverse how are you possibly across them all (or words to that effect) how many are still trading and is he actually 'across' them at all.. after all skinny tan was not his creation....

GREGPECK - All these questions that you need answers to! Hope that you are going to the AGM to get the answers straight from the horses mouth rather than trying to spread unnecessary uncertainty on this forum.If you hang around after the meeting you might even get to chat to the great man himself!


If you are so unsure about IDP and its management,why are you even invested here? There are lots more companies from which to choose.Might even be better for you if you were to stick to FTSE companies!

Taking completely unrelated companies now and trying to throw mud at IDP hoping it sticks. Wow they really are trying everything here.

The AGM should help get us back up towards 150p and beyond

Goz your logic is potentially right... Or alternatively, he can see where this is going and is getting out as quickly as he can without causing an absolute stampede for the exit... His holding could be worth much less than now if the numbers disappoint...

On a serious note I think we will start to move up soon as have been treading water around 110 for a while now. Yes I would like the directors to buy and this would show more confidence but let's be honest, shares by the directors are common and as I said before. HC selling would have cost him more on his remaining 4 million shares that he made selling so he clearly sees this hitting 200p again and soon

Mrthinks -. if the actual offer price drops to 110p (hopefully it will not!)we will see quite a few buyers move in to take advantage of a giveaway share price

Well its all you can have here until real numbers are forthcoming... If sales were powering ahead on all fronts why ditch 7% of the company? I guess he can explain at the AGM... Or maybe he was just being generous and felt charitable...
