I knew you would come on and be negative Greg. What you need to remember is Roots is now in 359 Boots stores and 779 superdrugs so it could simply be a case of people buying over the counter rather than online.

What is it with your negativity towards IDP? I am guessing you had all your money tied up here, you watched it hit 200p and didn't sell, you then watched it drop followed by the director RNS and basically felt cheated. Now you have sold out completely and want to get your own back. Sound about right?

That's a massive fall then goz.. when I was monitoring they were reguarly clearing over 100 items in total across all 5 skus are day. Based on that sales are falling significantly from what they were.. could be that those sales were very much magnified by the 3 for 2 but they are a lot lower.

This is the good thing about IDP Rawnsley, they do indeed sell the basics which people use daily. Yes skinny tan is a luxury but how many girls do you hear saying they feel naked without a tan? And so I feel this will continue to grow also. Beauty is a very big market and it's human nature to look as good as possible. On this basis I really can see IDP growing very well. If we could get a satisfactory reason for him selling I think this would really help push us back. I truly believe we can get to 150 and beyond in the lead up to Xmas, 200p really wouldn't surprise me at all.

With the stock market sentiment, I doubt we are due to reach 200p any time soon, however the underlying positive about this company is that it is selling basic products, which aren't going to be affected much by this. Shampoo definately not, perhaps ST is borderline, but UK consumer spending is still rising, as are wages, so at the moment, this shouldn't impact our top or bottomline. Whereas luxury products, such as perfumes are perhaps more vulnerable.

A concern is, if this bear market continues for another 12-18 months, will another cash raise come at deflated prices to fund new product expansion?

I will, as I was at FY 18, be interested in the cash position at half year FY 19.

HC selling some shares has never bothered me! With the large number of shares he still retains it is in his interest to ensure that IDP continues to prosper. I just cannot see why anyone would argue otherwise!(apart from self interest in trying to convince others, in order to end up with a lower share price )

I would if I could but I am in a fair bit here as fully believe in what we have. The only negative is HC selling but then of course this is to be somewhat expected from time to time in any company. Also he is taking more of a backseat now so the new guy should be able to push us from strength to strength. I'll post numbers later this eve

Np, I'll keep am eye on it this week after 4.30 each eve and see how we are getting on. From what I have seen so far the more expensive spray seems quite popular as does the standard shampoo and conditioner. The numbers shouod be very good looking at this :)

Well the dow is heading back up so hopefully markets in general will improve.

On another note, just seen an advert on fb for skinny tan that's had 3.2 million views, 2100 likes, 292 shares and 3k comments. Looking good to me :)

goz, if you are doing that, if you get 99, keep adding 99 until you get an alert to say "no more allowed" then you can see what they are holding.. Last time I looked it was several hundred of each line other than the dandruff one.

I did too, stupid low price with all that has changed here being a director selling. Yes not ideal but this is the real world.

Last time the markets dropped I bought a number of shares and made a nice profit. Fortune does favour the brave
