I'm sorry. I don't think that is how it works. The nominal value is defined in the Memorandum and Articles of Association. Doing share consolidations, or share splits, or introducing other share classes which get cancelled with no value doesn't change the nominal value in my book. What you do is create a new class of shares, swap them for some of the existing shares, and then cancel the new shares ( or simply leave them on the side lines with no voting rights, untraded, and no right to dividends ie they are worthless). This leaves a lower number of current shares in circulation, with the same nominal value. But the NAV per share has increased by an amount depending how many have been taken out of circulation.

Interesting that I have shares in 3 AIM companies with AGM's Friday next week-PRES, INL and TGP.
The audited reports of the first two companies are not yet ready which reduces the benefit of attending and means their shares will be suspended.
Does not say much for my share selection skills but I cannot remember this happening before

Graham, I believe than if you do a 2 for 1 consolidation, the notional value also increases to 20p, so that wouldn't solve the problem.

To change the notional value you need to go to court (takes 30-60 days), not sure why INL have not started the process yet.

Well you could do a 2 for 1 consolidation. Then the trading price would rise to 12p and 10p is a nice little earner for the City slickers. Why stop there, go for 3 for 1 and really shaft the existing shareholders. We are getting used to it.

Who is going to pay 10p when it looks like you can buy as many as you like at 6p!!!

..Separately the Company announces that it is contemplating a fund raising of up to GBP5 million, to be implemented at 10 pence per share, being the nominal value of the Company's shares. It has received indicative support for around half of this amount and is progressing discussions in this regard. Completion of any such fund raising would be subject to customary formalities and launch.

maybe the connected party issue is more to do with the stat land sale ... when was it marketed.... my bet would be there is a connection to Wicks hence why NON EXE felt time to leave due to non-disclosure

Will ISA providers force INL shareholders to sell, when the shares are suspended ?

I'm pretty sure this related-party issue is to do with the hotel or commercial property deal on one of their sites. Other shareholders can confirm too (the longer-term ones) but stretch your minds back and have a think.

Wasn't there a deal where they sold the hotel to energiser or KCR Reit on a sort of Bed and breakfast basis? Goes back about 6 years give or take, possibly more? I haven't had the time to go over past RNS's but I'm sure something weird happened where they did a deal to sell the hotel and then they bought it back quite quickly. All v weird at the time......there is a v close connection with Energiser (now Drumz) and KCR and INL - energiser had two directors at the time (wicks and nish) and KCR had v close ties to energiser through a shareholding and, I think, a chief exec (ie same person was involved in both energiser and kcr).

Drumz still has a massive legacy investment in KCR (I've got shares in Drumz - not many but have shares) because of that investment (in the hotel - I didn't know it was going to be sold back to inl quite so quickly). And now I'm stuck with them (bought at 2p at the time..........now 0.675p......another cracking investment I must say!!)

I might be wrong of course but there was definitely something going on in the background there (and it was done quickly I think because of the deadline for end of year perhaps? something like that). Perhaps others can assist here.

this is madness.

So, they still don't reveal who is involved in the alleged related party transactions or have appearently even come to a conclusion whether they are related party transactions and if I read a little deeper are still checking to see if there are any more.

And if they think they are going to get a fund raise away at 10p when the share price is currently 7p it will be the first time I've seen that. That's not to mention that I think the chance of anyone putting money in when there are alleged problematic transactions and no set of audited accounts is zero. But hey, anything to ty and make things look good.

Offloading while knowing they can get back in cheaper when new shares will be issued?

It looks to me like all support has gone whilst someone tries to offload their large position.

The large players aren't on average usually wrong although it does happen.

Pleasantly surprised not only that we have another NED but also on paper at least he has the background required.
I will not make the AGM as the money I have invested at these prices does not make it worthwhile and indeed I have 2 other AGM s that day.

No surprise! Well they signed the pledge last year. It's probably on Stephen Wicks desk waiting for him to sign it when he is confirmed as the CEO. As we have come to know with Inland nothing is straight forward. Might be the best result for shareholders anyway if they are not allowed to build any more houses in the future!https://www.inlandhomesplc.com/reports-presentations-and-news/press-releases/inland-homes-signs-building-safety-repairs-pledge/

Glad that we have a new chairman who is new to the situation.
I know nothing about him but take some comfort from the fact that he is on the Board of Anpario in which I have shares which is ad boring as they come.
I doubt if I will make the AGM as the value of my holdings does not warrant it.
I also take some comfort from the fact that Panmure Gordon who like to regard themselves as s high class outfit have not resigned as Noma/broker.
