Following on from my comment about investing in businesses and industries we don't know about, it's obvious that inflation and supply chain issues have taken their toll and remain.
It is also clear that consumption is now the issue going forward.
Yesterday Jarvis who are in the same market as INL but today Wimpey reckon completions down by 1/3 this year, Colmore Tang a regional builder is just hanging in and Jessella a Flat cladding co goes bust.
The point is, it would seem wise to me to be very careful about assuming a sustainable bounce in INL even over the next 3 to 6 months as it is a macro story along with a company specific( ps the company is clearly a dog)

Now stale news but the wire at opening: Chairman and non-executive directors resigned w/ immed. effect. ... related party issues have come to the Company's attention [NOT stated or implied as connected with the resignations] ...
Board intends to appoint former CEO and founder Stephen Wicks to the Board...

What if they bought some homes in between the coast and inland?
Then they could get people who like the inland and the coast
Then they could get loads of money and pay a nice dividend to investors
Otherwise what about selling all the houses and starting a wrestling franchise?

Agreed Cayenne45 - nothing shocks me nowadays though on AIM.

Noted a 375K sell at 7.1p - possibly the 1st slug of institutional offloading.

Virtually a 20% bid-offer spread now.

Whatever one thinks of the US, if this type of thing went on there, some Federal body would be making these wise guy's life a living hell
I feel for honest passive investors who actually rely on media/magazines and who haven't the time to dig down or haven't experienced the bottom feeders who inhabit the lower ranks of the AIM.

I suspect a large institutional shareholder is offloading in the background. They will not have liked the announcement today at all as will have shattered trust.

Expect lower lows to be tested.

Hmm well it calls them related party issues, not related party transactions, but either way the related party issues of which the Board are now aware have not been disclosed to the market and they may or may not be discloseable.

I imagine the NOMAD is having a busy day

On the dr's not buying medical companies......perhaps they don't want their entire lives invested in one basket (their careers and their investments all invested in the same thing) so they've chosen to diversify.

I've invested in development companies predominantly (and I'm in development myself). Have done exactly what peter lynch said...........and it's been a rocky road if I'm honest! :)

The problem is people invest in industries they are not familiar with, as the Wall st great Peter lynch once said, why do Dr's and Dentist ignore medical businesses but buy computer companies.
Today Persimmon Homes CED reckons sales/completions this year will fall by near 50% and today Jarvis Contracting est 1903 went into administration, Jarvis' activities are a near mirror of Inland homes building activities.

I was an investor here a few years ago. Pretty clear that the CEO and CFO ran it like a private company and they had big stakes so investors obviously thought they were aligned etc But the non execs were pretty weak and there were lots of opaque deal structures etc. The move away from land trading to house building was a total disaster and brought more complexity and debt. Not sure how it will all end but a lesson learned.

Yesterday they said the accounts date would be extended and there would in the Board's opinion be no likely change to the numbers

Today all the non-execs resign.

The auditors have clearly found something related to undisclosed party transactions and the non-execs can't stomach it.

It only then takes a little leap of faith to work out who the related party transactions are likely to be with and then everything else starts to unravel.

Each to their own but to believe this will turnaround and not further hurt small shareholders is not based on anything other than hope.
Site sales are borderline distressed and potential buyers will know this.
It’s years since I even held so really only trying to offer a point of view from a neutral angle.

Cannot buy 10000 online at 6p so they will only offer stock if holders panic sell at the 4p bid
