No worries cfro.

It does seem like it anyway. I don't know what proportion goes to IND, but RM200 million (Malaysian Ringgit) mentioned for the whole project, I make that £36,557,538.58 GBP.

IndigoVision's City Surveillance Solution Makes the Headlines in Malaysia

Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur (KL) recently deployed over a thousand IndigoVision cameras throughout the city and local residents are already seeing the benefits.

'The Star', one of Malaysia's largest news publications, recently published an article on how IndigoVision's solution is helping to manage traffic flow, and reduce violations and crime across the whole of KL.

IndigoVision Helps Loga Keep São Paulo Tidy

Loga, an environmental logistics company that collects and disposes of household waste across São Paulo, Brazil, have recently deployed IndigoVision's solution order to ensure that staff follow correct procedures and minimise environmental impact.

Used in monitoring multiple sites, IndigoVision's BX600 HD Bullet cameras provides high quality, Full HD video, while a Windows NVR-AS provides a powerful recording and playback system.

The Distributed Network Architecture (DNA) of IndigoVision's solution was key, as it allowed Loga to monitor multiple sites without the need for a server, which greatly reduced the cost of the system.

SNX's statement was rather indifferent imo. There was a profit warning and strong statement all in one. And they do say trading will still be inline.

Atleast it does show that demand remains strong for surveillance equipment.

Strange, as per post #3106 the Hippodrome de Vincennes article was first published on the 18th. Seems they've rearranged a few.

IndigoVision Safeguards Horses at the Hippodrome de Vincennes

Hippodrome de Vincennes, in France, is one of the world's most prestigious horse racing venues, having hosted the famous Prix D'Amerique since 1920.

They required a surveillance system that could provide video security for high value horses, and help tackle threats such as the illegal and prohibited use of substance doping. High quality live and recorded video evidence was an essential requirement, as was the ability to prove that recording had not been tampered with.

I've always wondered why IND need to partner with Wavesight, surely IND could have developed their own wireless kit years ago, it's pretty much generic stuff and comparatively low tech. The partnership slightly undermines the "end-to-end" selling point.

Not a big deal but I just could never get my head around it.

IndigoVision's Solution Deployed at Bina Oil Refinery

IndigoVision has successfully completed a project for Bharat Oman Refinery Ltd. (BORL) at the Bina Refinery and COT Vadinar. Over 100 HD cameras have been deployed, via Wavesight Wireless Radios, including wireless Fixed and PTZ cameras in order to strengthen security around the refinery's perimeter and gates.

IndigoVision's solution was selected for its ability to provide full HD 1080p video at 25fps over a wireless link without any overhead and while using the lowest possible bandwidth. The solution's incredibly low latency was another advantage, as it makes it easy for operators to track intruders and using the PTZ cameras, especially when combined with Control Center features like Advanced Maps, Alarm Priority & Escalation and Fast Video Search.

That was effectively my own interpretation, Gengulphus, though I didn't spell it out with as much clarity as you.

I think on the general point of dividend declarations it is almost mandatory, and totally logical, that dividends are announced with result statements rather than trading updates. Mind you, I do know of one share where even the payment is made in advance of the dividend actually being announced (confirmed) in the results. Very strange, that one.

I don't think Paul was implying that all we'll get is a trading update - but that what we'll get first is a trading update. In particular, in past years with the July 31st end of trading year, we've had a trading update in late July / early August and final results in September. My guess is that this time, we'll get a trading update and second interim results with similar timings - though both might be a month earlier, depending whether they split the 17-month period up 6/6/5 or 6/5/6, and the second interim results might also be a few weeks earlier due to them not needing to be audited.

A second interim dividend would seem very plausible, but would almost certainly be announced with the second interim results, not with the trading update. That's just because it's very customary in the stockmarket to announce dividends with results - I'm not aware of any very strong reason for that custom, but I'd be surprised if the company thought it worth breaking it!

Paul

You seem to be implying that all we'll get is a trading update.

However, with the extended financial year, I was envisaging a "second interim dividend" to follow the "first interim dividend" which accompanied the "first interim results".

Thoughts?

Graham

Similar reasons to why I brought in here, but the catalyst for me was the March interim's, where I saw evidence of the benefits of the previous restructering starting to make a positive impact.

IND have been showing their most recent technology at the Excel event in London this week, so worth keeping an eye on the website, for any new contracts that may be generated.

All the additional newsflow and contract wins was one reason for me buying here recently. A positive trading update, when it comes, should be a real possibility imo.

Good to see the share price acting well in lacklustre markets.

Yes very nice to see the change in attitude to newsflow on IND's website. About time they listened to us shareholders ;-)

Also, I would hate to jinx things, but the news section of the IND website has been chock full of decent contract announcements over the last couple of months, so combined with all the new product lines too, the probability is surely leaning towards an out-perform trading statement?

The share price seems to be suggesting that too - hovering near 12M highs in a soft market for small caps suggests that there is informed buying going on.

Anyway we'll see! What's another year?!

Regards, Paul.

My understanding is that there will probably be a trading update at the end of July this year, as in previous years. I asked the company, that's what they told me.

Regards, Paul.
