megusta - I'm not sure it's the case that IND don't sell much in the UK.

The projects on the IND website serve mainly to highlight new or novel uses for the technology, rather than highlight value or the regional mix of sales.

While IND financial results don't split regional sales enough to show UK sales in isolation, the UK does fall into the region of 'Europe, Middle East & Africa' which, at 32%, experienced IND's highest volume of sales (with Latin America next at 4% behind).

The other thing I would say is that the UK was one of the first countries to become saturated with CCTV, for historic reasons ("the IRA"), well before the birth of IndigoVision.

However, this means that most CCTV installations in the UK are still analogue. While analogue systems tend to get upgraded to IP in smaller steps, and typically don't make uniquely interesting news stories, it still presents IND with a good long-term revenue stream.

What I don't get with this stock is they don't seem to sell much in UK, where there's a camera on every corner. why is that?

exotic- South Africa is always in great need of security .Just need to ask my wife who comes from there and is back over there again. Lots of robbing and killing etc. going on. This happens at peoples homes as well as shopping centres and elsewhere. So I would expect lots of business in SA for this company. I am not invested here at the moment but considering it.

Let's hope that Indigovision don't suffer the same fate as some UK companies, such as SIS, who do work in India and then don't get paid.

IndigoVision's solution has become the first end-to-end solution to receive approval from the Research, Design and Standards Organization (RDSO). This includes Fixed Cameras, Fixed Dome Cameras, PTZ Cameras, Control Center and Video Analytics.

Representing the Indian Ministry of Railways, RDSO acts as a technical advisor on the design and standardisation of railway equipment, construction, operation and maintenance.

This comes after successful projects with North Frontier Railways and South Eastern Railways, which have helped establish IndigoVision as the first choice end-to-end solution for Indian Railways.

And still they keep coming - Salem State University:

hxxp://www.indigovision.com/en/news/2191-indigovision-helps-salem-state-university-look-out-for-their-students

Just in case they try burning a few of them as witches I suppose.

Salem State University is one of the largest state universities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In order to provide the safest environment possible for their students, the university has upgraded their existing analogue security system using IndigoVision's encoders and Windows NVR-AS software, giving an easy migration path to IP video security.

Campus Police have been so impressed by the improved video quality that they are now planning to deploy IndigoVision's cameras as part of their next project, expected to conclude early next year.

Welcome cfro, I would hope that the contract news on their website, may be a sign that business momentum is continuing to pick up.

As you say, not easy to buy, I had to use the TDW fill/kill system to buy at 470p this morning.

Thanks Lauders, have edited my post.

There is a section in the solar tracking contract that I think could be used for the group as a whole, where they use the word scalability. I have a sense that the IND business is becoming more scalabe worldwide.

"Another important factor was the solution's scalability – the site has already set the record for the fastest construction of a solar tracking power station, so having a system that could expand to keep up with this rapid growth was vital"

At last the news-flow is increasing. Looking good. I also note that there is another win that has not been mentioned here. interceptor2 to make links work use upper-case letters per this example: hTTp. Hence this other link should now work:

News today may explain price strength today, see below.

As part of Mylan Inc., one of the largest generic and specialty pharmaceutical company in the world, Mylan Labs Limited manage nine manufacturing facilities across India and China. These sites employ various different makes of camera, and Mylan needed a solution that would allow them to manage these disparate systems.

With its open policy on third party camera integration, IndigoVision was the ideal choice. The cameras on all sites are now managed through IndigoVision's Control Center Video Management Software (VMS), meaning video can now be viewed from anywhere. IndigoVision's unique Distributed Network Architecture (DNA) removes the need for any management severs, removing any single point of failure and making it easy to add new cameras to the system.
