20/10/2022 09:54 | Bought back in this morning, as sell off seems overdone. Pleased with the clearout. The ops update offered one important glimmer - the stimulation of A2 well on Southwark, with 1st gas by Xmas, so before winter. | cb7
20/10/2022 09:15 | Bought a few more cannot see IOG being worth only £38 million unless gas falls back to 45p per therm ,now there has been a clear out this rig and drilling contractor should be replaced as well not fit for purpose I say. | wskill
20/10/2022 09:02 | Will the new directors "kitchen sink" the assets? | sleveen
20/10/2022 09:00 | yawn (re post #2540!) | bountyhunter
20/10/2022 08:49 | Unfortunately the reservoirs are small and difficult to develop. Changes in management will not change this. IOG need better acreage. Good to see AH is keeping nose in trough in order to get some siggy | sigma3333
20/10/2022 08:44 | or just somebody with experience | bountyhunter
20/10/2022 08:37 | Somebody with experience as a Decommissioning Director should be useful! | kibes
20/10/2022 08:16 | need to see the seller tr1 then we can guage | stockhunters
20/10/2022 08:13 | They can't do any worse than the previous management surely. Don't answer that one dunders! 😉 I was left speechless here for most of yesterday. | bountyhunter
20/10/2022 08:12 | 6p is probably the level now | aimmafia
20/10/2022 07:36 | Running for the Hills it's the soft shoe shuffle. | guy_fawkes
20/10/2022 07:08 | To be honest too late now for these changes but here's hoping, IMHO. Maybe Rupert et al can put their own hands in their pockets now? | dunderheed
19/10/2022 22:26 | The problem with this analysis is leverage. Say the company was worth £250 ml yesterday. Its still worth £200ml today as debt is unchanged. Thus fall in price today is not unreasonable. | gopher
19/10/2022 22:01 | I never thought I would eva see this company's value drop to 40m considering the asset's and the investor backing on the back of a few setbacks. It's going to be interesting to see the news flow and I believe it will be rewarding to investors as they overcome the setbacks that's wiped off over 50m of its value in a day. I look at it as an opportunity for new investors to come in and enjoy the potential wealth that I believe will come over the coming weeks and months. I wish you all good fortune here as we see the turnaround get's on the way. Dyor and Atb. | deltalo
19/10/2022 19:59 | I sold at 8.9p today. The problem is that IOG is now closing in on being a zombie stock. ie the value of the company is less than its debts. I am guessing that debt servicing is not an issue; an RNS saying they have the full support of lenders is usually the kiss of death for shareholders. The most disappointing aspect of todays RNS for me was the downgrades to field sizes which seems to limit upside but the RNS is very kitchen sink and it’s difficult to predict where share price will be short term. | gopher
19/10/2022 16:44 | Lombard had 70million from last holdings | stockhunters
19/10/2022 16:21 | Yep I did buy at 18.8 p yesterday a day too soon, that’s life I’m not complaining, been doing this too long to let it bother me, nothing I can do but wait now like most others, it will come back but it may be a few months looking at the schedules, | therealdeal25
19/10/2022 16:06 | 8.09 I mean. Even better. | deltalo
19/10/2022 16:05 | I expect a bounce up soon as this has been overdone massively, I just bought 101k shares at 8.9 as it's really an opportunity imo to make from this. Dyor and Atb. | deltalo
19/10/2022 15:25 | The minuscule positive factors here are that the tax losses are still valuable, and that now is the ideal time to not sell gas given the day ahead prices. Those rates will shoot back up once this warm autumn weather ends. With Bacton down UK storage, such as it is, is likely to be fully depleted by the time it comes back. N.B. Anyone who thinks there is a chance of anything but ever dropping production from the UKCS is much mistaken. The UK is going back where we came before the NS opened up. This will probably mean reduced taxes going forward as it is either that or next to no new development. | hpcg
19/10/2022 13:33 | The debt is - Euro Bond of about 100m then the liability of payments to Mr Buffet and the new drilling costs with some cash in the bank. What is that NET as well as on going working capital? Lombard Odier and the liquidators + 19p option muddle = what do they want to do? I suspect the about shareholders will nor wish to pump more capital unless Buffet will do the same - BUT on what terms? What to do with the management team and how to pay them off is another piece of the new jig saw? For me I would prefer CAL Energy to acquire the lot for cash but what's the low ball price? Just some more background info................ | anley
19/10/2022 11:26 | wskill - Yes but you're not buying a fallen stock in the hope of recovery what you're buying is the next discount forward sold placing. That's how it works nowadays. Don't accumulate this is going lower. | pwhite73
19/10/2022 11:21 | Think its about time another pair of hands took the wheel here ,had to double up today earlier to give myself any chance of recovery of my cash. | wskill |
