I've read a few posts over there occasionally, it's a bit like it used to be wondering into the lounge bar from the saloon! I remember the days when that could get you into trouble - if you dared to take your pint with you (due to the surcharge in the posh bar ;)

Hi bounty I copied over your links to LSE IOG chat room if that's ok?
It isn't quite as civilised as ADV IOG* of course but I was feeling generous!
I agree re Southwark (or would really like to agree!) but like G99 just simply don't trust them (o an "all-round" level of "competence") so they could RNS anything at any time - which is what they seem to do inconsistently now anyway?
All IMHO and DYOR of course.














* They haven't a clue and also strangely (seem to) hate me ahem!

If there was any problem with Southwark they would have been obligated to tell us in the recent RNS so in this case no news is good news, for now at least! IF they can get Southwark online as planned then the shareprice should recover strongly, imho, dyor.

Dunderhead, call it a gut feel. No commentary about it in the recent update. Maybe I’m being unfair because the salinity issue is clearly an area of focus, but if it was going well, surely they would have mentioned it. Like I said, I’m shooting first having been hurt by O&G to many times in the past!

hi holding these since 32p company seems jinxed. first sludgde stoppage then water . productions stopped . can anyone tell me how much it is currently producing net as buffet takes 50% and what revenue is on this production.are both elgood and blythe afftected how much cash has it got
and when is southwark expected to come on line thanks

G99 why do you worry about current drilling?
I'm still worried about previous, lol.

However surely if not in line with previous Southwark RNS and materially different, then they would have to update market.
Their record to date has been exemplary with that regard, again, "surely"??!!

I’m worried about IOG. I just don’t think the water issue is going away without a lot more capex and the current drilling is clearly not going according to plan. Unless they get their production up quickly, I suspect cash will get eaten up and we are then looking at another capital raising. This is just my opinion but I’m out until they solve the cash flow.

As I mentioned b4, NSTA data historically published 3 months in arrears - suspect the July data was published ahead of schedule (holiday period/fat finger) - so don't expect August update until Nov 1st

OD absolutely 1000% agree, the oil and gas supply strategy for UK and Europe has been abysmal for nearly as long as I can remember.

Yes down to £3.30 a therm though a good profit for IOG on their 300,000 therms per day with costs of 20p or so per therm.

Yes another blip on UK daily rates.Not sure why. No doubt just lack of storage/ blip in LNG delivery/ weather effect.

Maybe an update about Southwark well in the near future and that was the reason it was missing from the production update, hopefully a good one for a change.

Although not updated beyond July yet I have found that you can add an extra column for "produced water" in the NSTA data and that produced water data is populated for Blythe in July (scroll over to the right - 713m³ from Blythe for July and none from Elgood). As later data becomes available it will be worth keeping an eye on this month to month.



If we had noticed that earlier we could have seen that the water was coming from Blythe back in July some time before they told us!

Averaged down so not so far to go to break even as last time around! Southwark should do it so long as production can be maintained at the current level at least. By Q4 would be a welcome surprise but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being Q1.

Good to get an active exchange of shares. It looks like sellers below 20 are exhausted and thus begins what is likely to be a slow grind higher. There'll be plenty more investors eager to get out at break even than there were in either the rise to first gas, and the subsequent recovery post the first fall, that's just the way investor psychology is.
