06/5/2022 09:27 | I said place those shares at 25p, if this keeps on I'll be saying place at 20p. | montyhedge
06/5/2022 09:26 | Agree mm but I think it is linked to the purchase price of next set of shares by IOG. ie they need the cash to buy these and will likely take the share price to sell close or maybe even slightly lower based upon tax and average profits position. As I said ages and ages ago a deal should have been done with RRE as so much was wrong with everything with this stock plus self serving management as well to make matters worse, except for the "asset backing". All IMHO of course and as ever DYOR. | dunderheed
06/5/2022 09:12 | So 30p next and then...??...no statement or comment from the company on the fall or why it is contra to all logic in this gas market. We are (holders) sat between a rock and a hard place because the moment we sell a positive announcement is bound to come and if we don't we have to sustain torture from a thousand cuts. What a disaster this is turning out to be compared to where we all thought we would be after first gas. | marvelman
06/5/2022 08:50 | Lol FB. Every time I think about buying in, the share price drops again, so I think again. | lord gnome
05/5/2022 22:30 | I'd have thought it would be a better option than this drip drip every day. I'm a buyer at 23p but if it gets that low the Mrs will skin me alive. | fardels bear
05/5/2022 22:27 | I hope there's nothing in this secondary placing nonsense, although if there is they had better get on with it. 30p right now for a fire sale? Purely thinking aloud btw but there must be some explanation for the recent share price decline here following first gas despite high gas prices. | bountyhunter
05/5/2022 20:50 | You would never have guessed that the gas price ended up +9.3% on the day! ICE NBP Nat Gas NGLNMc1 Latest Trade trading higher 174 GBp Change +14.8 +9.30% | bountyhunter
05/5/2022 15:33 | That's better, normal "service" resumed. | dunderheed
05/5/2022 15:14 | affc215 May '22 - 14:59 - 19917 of 19918 0 0 0 UK Natural Gas Futures: As from the month of July 2022 and onwards, NBP Futures are now 200p plus... With winter 2022 at 250p Great as an investor, but perhaps not so great for any gas bill payer ^^^from the SQZ thread :) | thelongandtheshortandthetall
05/5/2022 11:19 | At least there is a 90 day lock in clause for the i3e one. Not handled by Jeffries. | bountyhunter
05/5/2022 08:51 | Secondary placings seem to be in vogue at the moment,,,SQZ and today I3E...are we next on the list? | marvelman
05/5/2022 07:27 | Join the club! 😒 Should come good in the end imho. The ongoing LOG holding seems to be the immediate concern but spot and forward gas prices remain high and Southwark is progressing. | bountyhunter
05/5/2022 06:48 | Well Mrs Marvelman would not be happy either FB if she could take a look at the IOG chart and realise that the husband she thinks is good at these things has lost 30% of his investment since the time he should have sold at 44p. I have been adding to keep up with my target investment and still have to believe this company will be taken out at a decent premium....althought I don't have an MX5 to take into consideration :-)). | marvelman
04/5/2022 20:01 | Do I pay off the finance on my mx5 or do I buy some of these? How low will it go. Mrs not happy to have bought at 35p. | fardels bear
04/5/2022 18:38 | ICE NBP Nat Gas NGLNMc1 Latest Trade trading higher 168 GBP Change 11.83 % Change +7.58% | bountyhunter
04/5/2022 14:48 | Happy to top up at this level. The Finncap note yesterday talked of strong cashflow of $20m per month. They have an EPS of 28p for this year which is a PE of 1 and a price target of 66p. | pdt
04/5/2022 10:58 | After the Shell Jackdaw 120m to 250m barrel gas field refusal by the woke idiots in the OPRED a good start to increasing production would be their dismissal. | wskill
04/5/2022 10:56 | MM, Jeffries may be on the job already in collusion with LOG?! If so let's hope that existing shareholders are offered a slice at a discount. | bountyhunter
04/5/2022 10:07 | Apoligies if this has already been posted. I don't follow this BB closely. I am fairly convinced that this policy would be somewhat reversed in the likely event that Labour wins the next GE...but then again such policies don't always get you elected. Corbyn abolishing Trident ruled him out for many people who live in the real world for example. Similarly a lot of realistic (grown up) people realise that energy transitions takes decades not months...and that gas is the greenest option as an interim between now an fission (which is 30 years away....the same amount of years away it always has been). | thorpematt
04/5/2022 09:58 | What I am not sure of is how long can LOG keep milking the treasure chest without breaking the rules of administration (whatever they are). If there is no time limit then there certainly would be no sense in LOG administrators doing a secondary placing as Dunder suggests | marvelman
04/5/2022 09:53 | Please explain guys - what is the secondary placing FOR? To purchase LOG in open market then de-register shares? If LOG don't want to sell except to raise a bit of cash for their next "hit" of shares - what's the benefit here?! | dunderheed
04/5/2022 09:48 | The problem with these secondary placings is they tend to be offered to quick buck merchants (eg as was SQZ) leaving the same amount of overhang as before but far more volatile. Unfortunately for us it does look like the only way LOG can divest these shares is to do a secondary placing as they appear to have been unwilling to offer them to a willing buyer for which there must surely have been plenty in this gas market. Perhaps the result would be to leave a cleaner option for a bid. Whatever this is a shambles for PI's | marvelman
04/5/2022 09:19 | What and then remove shares from register? I "thought" LOG wanted about 50 to 55p per share? | dunderheed
04/5/2022 09:13 | A secondary placing to eliminate the LOG overhang would be a logical move and would explain the weak share price. I am wanting to get in and trying to time my purchase for maximum effect. | lord gnome
04/5/2022 09:07 | No I think LOG, "maybe" a placing but what for? | dunderheed |
