14/2/2022 09:53 | The Normand Subsea vessel (equiped with ROVs) is inspecting the subsea pipe to Blythe, I don't know if that's good or bad news, to be honest. It is navigating towards the platform, but it keeps advancing and stopping following the likely route of the subsea pipe. The Putford Terminator vessel is also navigating towards Blythe but in a direct route. Either the platform/well is f... or the preparations for the first gas are making it inminent. | alxo82
14/2/2022 08:23 | Given the Ukrainian situation this week would be a good time for IOG to announce first gas. Let's hope they can finally deliver without any more delays! If/when they do they shouldn't miss out on the PR opportunity of increasing the UK's domestic gas supply at such a turbulent time. | bountyhunter
13/2/2022 13:15 | I think we are all hoping that Bounty :-)) | marvelman
13/2/2022 09:34 | Good point it is a short month so could be next week. I really hope we don't get another one of those not quite yet but soon RNSs! | bountyhunter
13/2/2022 09:19 | Well mid February is now so first gas is next week...do we believe it?....nah | marvelman
13/2/2022 08:51 | Reading that forensically how long does "back-gassing" take! | bountyhunter
13/2/2022 08:50 | "An expanded team is working days and nights aiming to be ready for back-gassing in mid-February, with First Gas expected approximately a week later." | bountyhunter
13/2/2022 08:48 | As we are all expecting here if only they can get that first gas through the pipes! I've lost track but it must be a matter of days now based on the latest update?! | bountyhunter
11/2/2022 14:23 | Interesting price move over at DELT | sludgesurfer
11/2/2022 11:46 | Not wanting to bash management they could still come good ,Noble and its rig should have been given their marching orders cheap is not always best. Sold my last 110k shares a few minutes ago as unable to see anything good coming our way after previous mishaps. | wskill
11/2/2022 09:24 | Well judging by previous "management performance" to date and the cluster f with regard to recent "drilling" - what do you think? "Management" have proven to be at the very best, mediocre here, maybe they can transcend to "lowest quartile" over the next couple of weeks? I hope to be pleasantly surprised but don't expect to be - as ever all IMHO and DYOR. | dunderheed
11/2/2022 09:14 | Its like watching paint dry while we await the next 2 weeks and pray that we don't have another reason to have to apply another coat. | marvelman
08/2/2022 17:11 | Not knowing the exact nature of the cluster f I'd imagine they are, stand-by rate. It would of course be great if I'm wrong and it's FM? Hopefully they will have de mobbed all services ASAP as well as they can significantly add up. All IMHO dyor natch. | dunderheed
08/2/2022 17:03 | Quick question - who is paying for the rig at the moment whilst it's not drilling? | jdk14
08/2/2022 12:27 | 1 week to back gassing then production | edgar222
08/2/2022 11:27 | Is news near I wonder....Price firm today... | flyer61
08/2/2022 09:47 | Just with the 50% of those 100mmscf/d and the current price for march'22, IOG would sale 1mm pouns a day of gas | alxo82
04/2/2022 14:15 | Blythe and Elgood tested at 46 and 58 mmscf/d respectively. Some mention of drilling fluids being returned during testing which may have constrained rates. So base on the tested rates, about 100mmscf/d maximum with 50/50 split with IOG and CAL. I can't recall the budget case. | sludgesurfer
04/2/2022 13:56 | DILIP.....go to the IOG website and search for the 2020 report and accounts and you find what IOG own and what CAL own - all the other licences will at some stage be divided up BUT for the time being lets get the GAS out and the cash flow and sales working with GAZPROM. Not long to go and then my 40p will be reached. | anley
04/2/2022 11:53 | re blythe and elgood is iogs share from the 70mmscf 50% or 100 % i think someoe on this board mentiond this which is correct and same southwark? | dilip40
03/2/2022 13:50 | The price will be more than 40p......... | anley
03/2/2022 13:49 | AIXO.........please go to the last IOG report and look at who owns the equity and how it has all been financed. To help you and anyone else who is a shareholder there is a good deal of shuffle which will take place in the future. The first loan is for £165m from CAL(Buffett) which gives them 50% of most of the licences IOG owns Next is the Euro Bond of 100m due to be repaid in September 2024 @9.5% interest Now the equity owners: London Oil and Gas (in administration) 29.87% Lombard Odier 25.39 Richard Griffiths and others 6.14 Azvalor Asset management 5.13 All the other shareholders 33.47 The big question is who wants to sell and who will buy? I think I know but when? The price will be a haggle as I have no idea what the wording is within all the contracts such as hedging etc. | anley
02/2/2022 09:38 | anley, what do you mean? CalEnergy does not operate any of its UK assets, I don't see why this would change. I don't see IOG being acquired at this stage when the first gas is inminent and the Southwark platform should come online soon too, but a merger would make sense to me. In the case of Kistos, they now have fields in south North Sea and north North Sea, the location of IOG's assets makes a lot of sense. This is a personal opinion btw | alxo82 |
