18/9/2001 11:25 | spats If you rest your cursor arrow over any graph you are interested in, then right click your mouse, go down to properties, left click that and the url will be revealed...... just copy and paste it into whatever you want. gopi SMI index now included. cassio Sorry about that, all mistakes now rectified (I missed the T from TASX) MG2M | moneygoes2money
18/9/2001 09:22 | Good thread, but the graph for FTSE250 (MCX) above is incorrect. Not too sure what 'techmark all' is supposed to be. It cannot be a weighted average of all the shares in the techmark sector since it mirrors the FTSE all share more closely than the techmark 100. | cassiopeia
18/9/2001 07:52 | Money2money I have just discovered this excellent thread. I wonder if there is some way we can keep it to the top, so that it is always available. Really useful, thank you. I would also be interested in having the Swiss index SMI on there - any possibility of including it? Once again, many thanks - I have often thought a thread like this would be so useful, but I dont have a clue how to do it myself. | gopi
18/9/2001 07:39 | mm, can you give us the URLS's for live ftse charts and Nikkei as well. Thanks. | spats

25/4/2001 21:35 | Attention of Bullshare(ADVFN) Re- Copyright Issue All UK indices shown here are taken from the ADVFN website, so I would imagine that you have no problem in me posting them here. As there is no alternative on ADVFN, the Metal & Currency Charts are taken from the Kitco website. This website positively encourages other people to include their charts on their own websites and even goes as far as showing you how to do it Perhaps it would be an idea if ADVFN were to to consider making these useful (FOC) charts available as a permanent feature on ADVFN? Again as there is no alternative on ADVFN, NASDAQ and other World Indices are taken direct from the NASDAQ website and in turn serve to promote NASDAQ which I would imagine would be to their advantage, and I would be extremely surprised if this was to cause any contention on their part. Additionally, all charts (will eventually) contain links to appropriate websites for the purpose of providing more in-depth information on the chart being viewed. Such links will more often than not transfer the user direct to the website from which the charts originate, thus providing valuable links for the content provider (which they will surely not be unhappy about?). Also, ADVFN need not be worried as I have ensured in my HTML coding that on closing out of a visited website, the user is always returned back to ADVFN. PS......... It has been noticed by myself and others that ADVFN charts seem to currently have a 15 minute update delay, has this always been the case or is it perhaps a temporary glitch? I thought ADVFN was a real time site? Also the chart for the techMARK AllShare Index (TASX) does not seem to update at all? Please be assured that I have everyones best interests at heart, Regards MG2M | moneygoes2money
25/4/2001 18:23 | UK market charts are taken direct from ADVFN but there does seem to be a 15 minute delay in the data at present??? Thought all data on ADVFN was real time?? Metals, Currencies, American and World Indicies (provided of course they are open) all update immediately on opening or refreshing the thread with no delay in data. If you've been looking at these charts for some time, please note that to obtain up-to-the-minute data you need to refresh this thread by clicking on your browsers refresh icon. 25/4/2001 14:14 | Can I remind everyone that posting of other companies charts might infringe copyright . Please be aware of tightening rules and regulations on the net. | bullshare
25/4/2001 14:06 | back to top ! | kerr
25/4/2001 11:46 | Yeah it is a shame the graphs don't update in real time. I might be wrong but i estimate a delay of 15mins. Still very helpful for trading the indices though. Regards kerr | kerr
25/4/2001 10:31 | I like it....but erh... the prices are delayed or the line is not right. At 10:10 I refreshed this page and the ftse100 was to the left of the 10:00 line. I clicked on the graph but I would like to see all graphs with one refresh. | crooke
25/4/2001 08:47 | Nice job !!! | kerr |
