Will back up the positives on the webinar - it was very good and informative.

Interesting news recently, Liontrust has now launched a sustainable fund (they'd been threatening this for a while). The CEO of Liontrust said that he had been very impressed by Impax's recent performance and regards them as his closest competitor when trying to win over investors. I wonder who will win in this two horse race, both are almost equal in AUM. I've also heard through the grapevine that Impax have created a bit of stir in the recruitment market (apparently they've been hiring like crazy). My money is on Impax, a large part of Liontrust's AUM growth has been through acquisitions whereas Impax more organic, also Liontrust been taking some big opex hits due to the acquisitions. Will be exciting to watch this space going forward |
"Mr Simm’s role as company founder, his notable shareholding alongside a dedication to a particular business theme created a powerful combination for long-term investors."

Fantastic results. They seem to be receiving a wall of money to invest. This is what happens with asset management firms when they get it right. Of course, it won't last forever, but still potentially only about half way through the journey! |
With growth forecasts beaten by some margin + evidence of operating leverage kicking in, Equity Development increases its core valuation to 1205p/share.

Woops that does make more sense SJ:) |
I meant the delay in putting the presentation on the site ;-) The share price performance has been impressive, beyond any doubt! |
As a holder for the last 3 plus years I'm a pretty happy holder and would regard the performance as impressive. Guess it depends on your outlook but I'm defo going with impressive?! |
Not so impressive ? |
Presentation not yet up on site, 3 hours late if anyone out there is reading! |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) Extremely impressive. My largest holding due to price performance. AUM increased by nearly 50%. Interim dividend doubled. Fits with the increasing emphasis worldwide on need for a sustainable economy. Excellent share to tuck away for the long term Ian Simm, Chief Executive, commented:
"Impax has made further excellent progress during the first half of its financial year. Notwithstanding the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the business has continued to grow, with assets under management and advice ("AUM") increasing by almost 50%, including GBP6.8 billion of net inflows.
"Amid rising interest in the transition to a more sustainable economy, our long track record and broad-based distribution capabilities and relationships have helped us to stand out from the crowd as we secured major new mandates, while also increasing significantly our business with many existing clients.
"Over the next few years we expect the companies in which we invest to continue to prosper as markets for clean energy, resource efficiency and low-carbon technologies expand rapidly. Against this background, Impax is well positioned for further success." |
