nobby - having topped up again this morning, you're clearly a betting man (as was I yesterday). So if pushed, what odds would you give on the FDA eventually granting approval 50:50 / 60:40 / Other (please specify!)

I see view 1 as very unlikely. As for view 2, more likely the FDA are working to clear the backlog caused by an earlier surge of Covid drug applications?

Two views:

1) FDA believe it works and some vested interest wants to delay as a competitor product could be adversely affected (revolving doors infect many regulator's maybe)

2) FDA really are busy giving emergency approval to the huge range of Covid drugs hitting them

As ever its wait and see but if '1' is correct it means people with a version of Lupus aren't really of interest to regulators, who knows, oh yes its only a few hundred thousand.

Well my assessment is factually correct but as you intimate markets are irrational thereby giving opportunities to the bold….or foolhardy depending on your view

nobby - true to an extent. BUT markets hate uncertainty - and today’s delay brings with it more uncertainty.

Bought a few more at 6p. The delay means nothing in terms of the FDA advice so any markdown is unwarranted. Of course the news still could be negative but the announcement this morning is agnostic

Share price between now & announcement day will show whether investors view this as postponement of good news or a stay of execution.

Hopefully the FDA refund some of the fees for being late!

Your posts were and are visible, but that doesn't guarantee anyone will read them. Even in duplicate. Sorry.

The UK government at the time had the remarkable insight that they couldn't run businesses efficiently themselves. Sadly they didn't realise that that meant they couldn't regulate them properly either.

Ref news, not much point in trying to hold FDA forecasts to the day...

Oh well, at least spot prices on oil & gas are plummeting. Just a shame the UK government got rid of all our storage capacity. Otherwise we could have stocked up on gas in May 22, when the price stood at 128p per therm (rather than 522p today - and that's AFTER a 26% daily fall). Labour are no better unfortunately. Remember Gordon-Is-A-Moron-Brown, selling half our gold reserves in 1999, just as the market bottomed nicely? Then crawling out from his stone some twenty years later, only to lecture us all on how to do things. Still, I'm sure "everyting's gonna be alwight" once Liz "Trust-Me-I'm-A-Big-Cheese" gets her hands on the economy. She knows a good truckle when she sees one. No, I said "truckle" - not fxxx all.

Well one of them was mine (the 131,965 buy at 4.04pm). And I can assure you, it's nothing more than a brave (quite possibly foolhardy) punt.

well the trades in the last 30 minutes seem either well timed or a brave punt!

Yes but only when logged in. My post nos 38169 & 38170 were clearly visible to the general public, until suddenly they weren't any more. I hadn't realised Putin had finally taken over our media too, but it seems I'm behind with the news.

Funny how my posts here have suddenly started being redacted (i.e. vaporised) in a Trump-like world. Suggest you go to the LSE board to see what I had to say.

I agree the lack of news doesn’t bode well. A simple written reply saying the PK data is fine and the trial can proceed does not take very long to discuss…

And yes I’m still long

What exactly have you asked Lisa? Sadly, I don't think she'll tell you the outcome before it's announced! So the only thing you're likely to hear is that they don't have the outcome yet (which we kinda already know from the RNS radio silence). Oh no wait, there WAS an RNS this morning. Just not the one we wanted.

yes lord - you're right but i'm just guessing.

Anyway - send an email to Lisa. will keep posted if i get reply

I simply don't think that's correct Eva Perón. Why mention a response date of 29 August in every previous RNS, if you're not then planning to update the market straight away?

Lord - Avion is private ltd company. They are not obliged to inform public ( or even IMM ) on time.

I fear further delay from FDA.

Either case, this delay is not looking good for LTH.
