01/8/2006 10:47 | tempted to add more as this seems to have found a price platform. I expect to hold anyway for next two years - usual AIM reasons but also I do believe the company has only set a bottom line for future growth/perfcormance and I expect new developments over next twelve months to further boost prospects. | silverfern
18/7/2006 17:45 | Good to see 3i off-loading almost 2M shares in order to satisfy investors' demands. Let's hope they are taken up. | george19
09/7/2006 11:45 | Long-winded, but seems accurate. And note that a dividend is now being paid (expected to rise 100% to 2p this year and another 50% to 3p next year. | diogenesj
09/7/2006 01:09 | would love to know whats driving the rise..its intriguing in the sense that is it purely MM's churning or something more news driven that we don't know and which affects the fundies.. been on ADVFN for a while under various disguises but I recognise and follow certain posters and for me its a case of....'what do these people know that I dont'!!! uniquely impressive and CR's one of them..apologies for being overtly sycophantic but just trying to gain insight to make more money!!! It's a continous education for which I'M eternally grateful regards oc | olivercromwell
08/7/2006 21:33 | I'd love to tell you bobic but it would mean that once I had I would have to shoot you! :-) The current thread for it is rubbish so I'll start one next week - you'll spot it I'm sure. Remember I get things wrong too tho! CR | cockneyrebel
08/7/2006 18:35 | Yep, Diogenes is right in part. There's definitely a lot of slog involved as testified by the hours I spend here! I like growth that is beating the PE, ie, 20% growth on a PE of 10 say and where decent growth looks maintainable. 'Trading ahead' statements are good but don't necessarily buy them on that statement. Bung it on your watch list and buy into the dip that nearly always follows or as the results approach after that statement. Director buys are another wheel on the fruit machine that add up to jackpot as is past history of beating. But after all that there's nothing that beats the old nose! The more you do it the better you get at sniffing out a bargain. Don't know what it is, sometimes like this there's even director selling going on and they are a bargain! Sometimes it's the chart, the high level of earnings in H2 that people have missed in the full year results or just large or interesting trades going through that get me sniffing. Might often be that that attracts me and then I discover the treasure as I dig. You're right about me having wrong un's too Oliver! Best you can hope for is to get as many more right than wrong as you can. Also when you feel very confident back them hard and early! I'd go easy here after such a rise. I had a target of 170p I stated above and we are near there now. Might have a fair bit left in them over 12 months but I'll be top slicing and a bit more soon after 35% in a week. Have my new home for the money lined up tho - reckon the forward PE might be 4, the earnings growth 100% pa + and the thread on ADVFN is dead (another great sign of a bargain imo! ). I'll start a new thread next week when I've bought me load :-) CR | cockneyrebel
08/7/2006 16:57 | I see that the Guardian yesterday quoted Teather & Greenwood as recommending clients to buy with a target of 230p (coincidentally the figure I mentioned above - fools seldom differ). | diogenesj
08/7/2006 15:11 | He certainly does better than me, Oliver. I think another thing he does is to watch the news like a hawk and look into anything that announces earnings ahead of expectations, or large director buys. There's a lot of hard slog involved in all this, of course. (Correct me if I'm wrong, CR.) | diogenesj
08/7/2006 14:55 | diogenesJ will pull out the Zulu book. CR is an intriguing stockpicker and though he/she must have his/her fair share of losers I bet they are outweighed by his/her winners. Missed out on NTP..was offered 6500 at 7.75 on the breakout 2 weeks ago and refused but its rare to see a bio company with this rate of growth AND paying a dividend. Intend to buy another 5000 shares next week if the market allows me to oc | olivercromwell
08/7/2006 14:26 | I think he'll just tell you to read Jim Slater, Oliver. | diogenesj
07/7/2006 23:04 | Just got in first thing before the rise. Still look cheap to me! | rogerbridge
07/7/2006 22:04 | Couple of buys after the close @ 176p and 175p too. CR | cockneyrebel
07/7/2006 16:32 | Worth at least 180p imo, even without an upgrade. But I expect you're right as usual, CR, in which case they are worth more. :-) | diogenesj
07/7/2006 13:24 | And there was you happy with 170p only yesterday! | silverfern
07/7/2006 10:05 | I reckon there must be an upgraded broker note driving todays rise. Should revisit the old highs easily imo. CR | cockneyrebel
07/7/2006 08:30 | nice volume yesterday, moving up again today - screaming cheap for the growth imo CR | cockneyrebel
07/7/2006 08:28 | Getting less cheap! :o) | philmiboots
06/7/2006 17:28 | Yes, looks cheap, bought a few more. | diogenesj
06/7/2006 16:53 | I hardly know where to start- growth in all parts of the business, profit in every geo area, more from France (sales only since October inc this year) and new markets in Austria and Japan to come. MOre products - recognition thru Queens Award for Enterprise, er... "the IDS 'pipeline' has never been fuller, and we look forward to launching new products on a more regular basis", R&D subsidy in FInland of 35%, dividend cover is 7-fold, £900k to spend on acquisitions, automation used to enable demand to be met cost-effectively, very full and bullish MD statement about opportunities. and a hint we might get more RNS than this year. A fair market price for this? Hard to say but anything south of 200p would represent very good value IMHO, and I'll top up over the next 12 months accordingly | silverfern
06/7/2006 10:01 | Now that's better :-) Got to be worth 170p imo CR | cockneyrebel
06/7/2006 08:31 | I'll have a look silver, ta. Meanwhile IDH having it's results looked at by investors and the price is rising - if the market was a bit firmer these would be up lots more imo. CR | cockneyrebel |
