19/7/2007 13:21 | I think it's fair to say that results drive the share price, and that's how it should be - it's not a hyped share. The acquisition coincided with a positive review in IC but in any event it is good news. If you want to know interim dates try clicking on NEws and checking the historical dates. | silverfern
19/7/2007 12:45 | Interims first week in Nov usually. | myoldmate
19/7/2007 12:11 | Anyone seen any updated forecasts? | wjccghcc
19/7/2007 11:32 | when are next interim results? | v01101999
18/7/2007 22:31 | Just an observation. I was looking at the chart for IDH since flotation, and it struck me that the greatest increases in the share price has historically occured after the interim results without fail. That may or may not happen again this Nov but it's worth hanging on to find out. Another question, why are the prelims and interims only 4 months apart, why not report 6 monthly? is there an explanation? Black boxes Prelims, Blue boxes Interims, the chart is created using weekly candles for easiness. free stock charts from www.advfn.com | myoldmate
17/7/2007 08:15 | Momate: Exactly as I posted above! Good companies don't grow and sit back, they continue to grow, and that's what IDH are doing. The acquisition will transform the company and drive sales of 3X3. They know what they are doing. | silverfern
16/7/2007 23:18 | With the bull run of the last few years running out of steam the days of generous valuations are over, no bad thing imo, I'd rather have my feet on the ground than my head in the clouds. I'll continue to hold for two reasons, 1. The recent (proposed) acquisition, which in their own words will be, 'earnings enhancing and give the group a significant and some may argue, a dominant position in this market segment.' and..... the successful implementation of the 3X3 automation process, which is promising but has yet to be realised, the appointment of Martha Garrity goes a long way to taking any risk out of that as she's, 'been there, done that, got the T-shirt!' so this is likely to be a success and will hopefully lead to significant business in the future. 2. I can't think of a better home for my money. Hopefully over the next few weeks the advisors will be able to get their heads around the finer points of these latest developements and give some inkling of what the future holds. The Managing Director however is quite certain that things are 'hunky dory.' Quote from the results. 'Now well into FY 2007/8, we are able to see the first fruits of our labours, and I am confident that when reflecting on our achievements in one year's time, I will have a still more exciting year to draw upon, and be able to report significant additional shareholder value.' | myoldmate
16/7/2007 22:18 | Yes, good results, but they raised expectations too high with their March statements. | diogenesj
16/7/2007 11:08 | Also took profits on most of mine. It appears that PBT was ahead of expectations but EPS was less. They don't seem to have much amortisation so I'm at a loss as to why. Perhaps the broker's tax rate was way out? | wjccghcc
16/7/2007 11:07 | results were slightly on the disappointing side comapred to expectations in the market. Company is priced reasonably today if we taken into account 2.136 MM operating cash flow. I have closed my long position and I am on sideline to wait an watch and may be pickup on some drop. | v01101999
16/7/2007 07:59 | Thbe results are what we would expect: I like these additional points and especailly the last words : "a little icing on the cake, we have secured a contract with one of the top European pharmaceutical giants, hopefully the first of several, to develop and manufacture an automated 3X3 test for a proprietary compound for their extensive forward clinical trials.... FY 2006/7 was a demanding and rewarding year, with sound progress made on all fronts, and ambitious plans laid for future growth. Now well into FY 2007/8, we are able to see the first fruits of our labours, and I am confident that when reflecting on our achievements in one year's time, I will have a still more exciting year to draw upon, and be able to report significant additional shareholder value." | silverfern
13/7/2007 08:30 | very few available on line- I'm sure Monday's results will also produce comment in the usual press. | silverfern
12/7/2007 16:15 | Whether stock is in short supply or not I don't know, but someone just paid 5p over the offer to get 1639. | myoldmate
12/7/2007 13:42 | Results Monday. | silverfern
07/7/2007 23:10 | thanks for that- unpicking the eps would be speculative now you have to add in the debt incurred in buying Nordic Bio and the earnings enhancement and the xtra upsell of 3X3 as a result. Suffice to say, IDH were in a position to guarantee increased eps and growth for 08 and 09 so buying this company had to make sense to them in every way, or why do it? I don't doubt I'll be here in two years saying 'just added more'! DYOr of course | silverfern
06/7/2007 17:53 | Update of the Armshare review. The company broker's note dated 6th November projects adjusted EPS of 12.29p for 2006/7 and 15.56p for 2007/8 representing P/Es of 20.9 and 16.5 respectively based on the share price of 256.5p at 4th July - the note will be updated following the preliminary results announcement on 16th July. Despite multiplying 5x in the 2.5 years since the IPO launch at 51p, the share price still looks reasonable value having regard to the rate of EPS growth and the business activity/model. | myoldmate
06/7/2007 12:26 | Nigel Milton, the editor of Investing for Growth, where I first became aware of IDH, re-tips it in an IC feature on health sector shares today.Should help. | hitchinhoncho
06/7/2007 09:43 | Results Monday, July 16, there's an RNS. It looks like more good news is expected! | hitchinhoncho
04/7/2007 07:42 | Very intersting development today! IDH are buying a Danish company which has an EBIT of arounbd 50% to turnover. THey are not buying the 'traditional business' from NBD. NBD's products can be supplied with the IDH 3X3 kit so that in itself will increase IDH revenues; margin increases also to be delivered because sales will be direct and through one sales team. THey said in December sales of 3X3 will prtovide opportunitites to upsell products, well now they have a load more prodcts to upsell. They appointed new Board members in Feb/March this year with the aim of developing this strategic capability so I guess they are doing that. Brokernote dated 6th November 06 projects adjusted EPS of 12.29p for 2006/7 and 15.56p for 2007/8. THey have said they wil beat that, and tyhat this acquisition will be earnings enhacing. Suppose a revised eps forrecast then of 20p for 07/08 and you have a very good value company here imho | silverfern
22/6/2007 14:54 | I wish ADVFN would update its transaction software - most of the transactions today are buys; mine certainly was, at 251p, reported as a sell | silverfern
14/6/2007 20:28 | According to NATWEST it's Thurs 5th July, same as last year. | myoldmate
14/6/2007 13:27 | Silver - It looks that way. As I see it there can't be many sellers. Drifting quietly. I can wait. :0) | george19
14/6/2007 12:52 | Results were out first week of July last year - I expect the same this year. It's been very quiet but I expect some activity on results as last year. | silverfern
03/5/2007 11:06 | some considerable volume going through at 240p and the price rises! | silverfern |
