15/10/2007 16:20 | A nice 25k T trade reported as a sell, yeah! | myoldmate
15/10/2007 12:04 | well, I confess to cutting my stake right back a few weeks ago - plenty of shares were gaining after the August falls and I needed to be part of that. I have been buying back in however and today's tick up suggests if the report is good/positive then this could be back where it started in no time. I'm sure there'll be press coverage too. | silverfern
12/10/2007 14:36 | With the interims due in the next month and an impending brokers note there should soon be some meaningful actvity, just hope it's upwards. | myoldmate
12/10/2007 13:52 | hb - I'm no chartist but I do find it pleasing to my eye. | george19
12/10/2007 13:17 | What a lovely chart. | horneblower
12/10/2007 10:02 | dare I say it, but there seems to be some support at this level ahead of the brokers report | silverfern

20/9/2007 16:13 | Latest addition to the Armshare summary. 'In September, an Operations director was recruited - he moves from the post of MD of Axis-Shield's Laboratory Division with sales of £17 million and 130 employees - of particular relevance in relation to the Biocode acquisition (see above para) is that Axis-Shield has been developing proprietary immunoassays under its own name for distribution on Abbott's AxSYM automated immunoassay platform - the chairman of IDS is a former CEO of Axis-Shield.' It also says that an updated bokers note is due out in October | myoldmate
15/9/2007 20:21 | DiogenesJ - good points... slap | slapdash
15/9/2007 12:22 | Yes, he's pushing the IC stockscreening system, using other people's filters. His articles always seem to me to promise much more than they deliver - you have to read them to appreciate their vacuity. | diogenesj
15/9/2007 10:02 | what is wrong with this stevenson guy???? I thought he was just using other people's filters??? Any thoughts... slap | slapdash
15/9/2007 08:40 | David Stevenson is not the sort of tipster you would follow with any confidence, mom. Note that that he only bought £300-worth, and doesn't say when he bought them. The 11% rise (no doubt mid-price to mid-price) is over the last six months, not since his purchase. He is buying (if he is buying at all) in £50 lots over a period, using the Halifax £1.50 share dealing service. | diogenesj
14/9/2007 21:51 | What's happened to the revised brokers note that was supposed to be issued after the Biocode acquisition? Anyone seen it yet? | myoldmate
14/9/2007 16:35 | Flicking through the IC in Waitrose this PM, one of their contributors, a David Stevenson I think, has IDH down in a portfolio of possible 10 baggers and they are currently up only 11% from his purchase price. Hope very much his forecast comes true. | myoldmate
25/8/2007 07:54 | Excerpt from the Armshare analysis. Just info really. The blue sections give some indication of the timeline regarding IDH's foray into automation. The next direct marketing channel planned is Scandinavia, using the proposed NBD acquisition (see above para) as the platform; opportunity has emerged through the demise of a major competitor, Nichols Institute Diagnostics of California - 2 of IDS's senior managers are ex-Nichols - it is anticipated that winning more Nichols customers will be facilitated by the automation programme (see December 2006) - 3x3 automated analysers are currently in Beta test, with IDS expecting commercial launch in Q1 2008 - in order to assist the launch of the product, an 'Alliance' is being established of IVD companies with complementary areas of excellence to develop products for the 3x3, thereby accelerating the number of assays which the 3x3 will be able to handle - IDS will be the Alliance member exclusively dealing with Bone & Skeletal products - the development of IDS's first 3x3 compatible product (working with one of the top European pharmaceutical giants) is scheduled for September 2007. As an afterthought I wonder that, if IDH are ultimately successful with their strategy, whether Quest Diagnostics (NYSE:DGX) would be a potential suitor? The Nichols Institute, of whom IDH has now recruited two of their staff, was owned by them but dumped because of poor performance. With IDH strong in Europe and, once regulatory hurdles are completed, a force in the USA and Japan is it not conceivable that they might sniff around? | myoldmate
24/8/2007 13:15 | Horneblower - An additional positive on top of the long term trendline support is the 38% fib retrace from the floating low on 30/12/04 at 55p to the high on 17th july 07 of 305p = a perfect 38% fib retrace at 208p . | chester
24/8/2007 09:44 | 1/. This point sometimes denotes a half-way point to a change in trend direction. 2/. This peak did not reach the top channel line. Often a pointer to a change in trend direction. 3/. this bear formation could be only half-way through. Bear patterns are usually 2 stage affairs.... I will watch it carefully but am still optimistic. ☺ | horneblower
24/8/2007 08:44 | I should mention that there are three small things about the chart which cause me concern, but overall it augers well. I will post the chart with my concerns after my daily intake of Allbran and coffee. | horneblower |
