I was intending to go but had to drop out. I've been assured that the presentations will be recorded and made available. But live feedback appreciated

Anything new and price sensitive will need to be RNS’d in the morning.

Is anyone from this BB planning on going to the Investor Day at FAB1 tomorrow? I know that the company has already made clear that no market sensitive / new information will be given (in accordance with stock market rules) but it would be good to get some firsthand feedback from the presentations / site visit.

Nice to see this holding the recent gains whilst we take a breather from the upwards movements. Not long and we will be on our way again. 230 next week I reckon ;)

More power-smaller than-longer life = success. Bigger than-less power-shorter life = guess what? Solve the second group with the first and you get Ilika. Think radios, telephones, cars, tech, cameras, monitoring, and a host of other applications. First mover advantage is most importent as patents don't last forever. As long as the Chinese don't steal the IP Ilika is out in front in the race. I think their lower profile beginnings, helped by government support rather than multiple fundraisings and grandiose forecasts has helped them stay in the game. The Americans can see that which is why the share price is going up. I hope they dont't get taken over too early before the mass market adaptation of the Stereax and Goliath systems can spread to middle sized applications such as day to day consumer products such as torchs, household goods, power tools etc. Eveready and Duracell watch out!

All set up for an afternoon push? 180 now, think we will push to 187 with Afternoon buying. All set up for re-rating up to 200 prior to commencement of commercialised production in April :)

Not sure if this is a run up ahead of the Capital Markets day on Friday or something more. Feels like there is persistent US buying as ILIKF volumes are up and price moves usually more than IKA in London. Either way, it's very good to see upward momentum

Great post and good to see such great research. The order book is full as they say, British innovation at its best, spun out of a university, developed a world leading technology and now about to manufacture and produce. Current Low Share price will be a distant memory and this is multi-bagger even now

Ilika already produce solid state batteries on their pre-production line (they sold ~ £400k worth in 2020 financial year). Whilst that isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, it is a lot of batteries when you consider that not a single one was incorporated for a commercially available end product. (All of those batteries went to OEMs who used them for i) re-certification of existing products and/or; ii) development of new products.)

What changes in Q2 2022 (just 4 to 6 months away), is that Ilika will be producing commercial quantities of solid state batteries, which will be used by others in commercially available products. Note, QuantumScape and Solid Power do not have commercially available solid state batteries for sale at this time.

FAB1 (which cost less than £4 mio fully commissioned) is eminently replicable (and demand for Stereax batteries will no doubt be huge and growing rapidly). Note that FAB2 was already pre-financed in the 2020 fund-raise for FAB1.

Note that the timeline from here is Process Validation (to ISO 9001) - currently occurring; Product Validation (Q1 2022); Commercial Production (Q2). I anticipate that Ilika will be announcing Orders as soon as Product Validation is complete.

Med tech devices which are not possible now, will be with Stereax - the PE which ought to be ascribed to such an enterprise will be commensurately high. Institutions will see the scale of the Stereax opportunity, even if PI's are myopic. Imagine the effect on the share price when they announce that the year ahead order book is full...

I am not sure we have to wait that long. Q2 2022 is April. So worse case, yeah perhaps July but best case with the facility already opened we will be producing the U.K’s first solid state batteries in April :)

Because they are at least six months away from commercial sales as stated on many occasions. They remain on course despite all the COVID and supply chain issues. Very impressive management

A real milestone in British innovation. The world-wide market for this product ia enormous and growing. For once we are able to manufacture our own inventions instead of them going abroad. Well done. Now onwards and upwards.
