Shstt1 the word I think you are looking for is position traders. Like day traders they are not responsible for the wild fluctuations in share price, they are simply attracted to those shares that do
and exploit it.

Jimmy calls others clueless but fails to understand that day traders who know their stuff make multiples more than hold to the grim death "investors" ... the ones who sit there like rabbits in the headlights watching their virtual profits disappear ... too afraid to sell in case they miss the big one ... which rarely happens.

They may not strictly be termed day traders but the likes of horn-blower and supernancy are in and out regularly hence their change in tone and like rogk timed their last badly

Ilika investors don't need people like yourself. You don't have a clue NOT A ClUE! There isn't a company in the big wide world that comes close to ILIKA's Technology.

Tosh. There are no day traders here. The 4% spread rules it out.

Solid company is currently correct: they have about two years of cash.

Solid Tech is debatable: gas deposition of anodes and cathodes is uneconomic for anything but expensive micro-batteries. The fact that they decided to manufacture them themselves raises eyebrows to say the least. Goliath is an unknown. Technically it might succeed but the screen-printing method of manufacture is not protectable.

Solid board: You may think so. Some do not.

I will say it again SOLID COMPANY, SOLID TECHNOLOGY WITH A SOLID BOARD. The only reason this share goes up and down like a YOYO is because of the DAY TRADERS. Stereax will be the first revenue generator. By this time next year production from the new facility should be coming on stream. It will take time after that to sort out teething problems and improve efficiency. So expect at least two years from now before the numbers start to look good.

It is probably going to be 3 years before Goliath is ready for pilot production and we can see if it is a winner. Hopefully profits from Stereax can fund pilot production.

FWIW I think management will focus on Stereax plans as that is where the expected revenue growth will come. News on orders should be forthcoming. Expect cautious optimism on Goliath, with an update on UKBIC plans. Anything else a bonus. No doubt traders will be disappointed in the above but if there is more on Goliath eg OEM partnerships then expect a rebound

Results won't show anything substantial on the financial statements, but an update on the facility fit-out would be good (lease signed, costs on budget, no further funds required before stereax ramp up...)

Fewbob, baidu have a HKong (dual) listing being sorted right now for this very reason (along with frustration due to historically low NASDAQ valuation) win win whatever the future..

Anyhoo.. when are llika results due next week?
