IMO IGas positive comments Courtesy of Drill or Drop (some believe a possible protest site?) - Ministers have proposed to classify non-fracking shale gas exploration as permitted development. This would mean shale gas companies could establish a well pad and drill exploration wells without the need to submit a planning application to the local minerals planning authority. The government is also proposing to designate shale gas production schemes as Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. This would take decision-making away from local mineral planning authorities and give it to the Secretary of State on the recommendation of a government-appointed planning inspector.

Your best site is Drill or drop, for all fracking news.

The trouble is that the nimby councillors always vote against fracking.

Even conventional oil onshore planning is proving impossible to get. Have a look at EOG abd UKOG..

IMO Existing major shareholders are confident to keep increasing on the dips. Interims should confirm IGas have low debt, be cash positive and have a substantial ring fenced previous tax loss to help bottom line.--------IGas have a strong partner in INEOS (one of the world's largest manufacturers of chemicals derived from Oil and Gas) who are providing the bulk of Free Carry on shale Gas exploration. -------IMO Shale Gas is Coming!-------Some reminders of the future positives .........17 May 2018Gov . If it can get through approx 135p on decent volume a run towards 160-170p looks possible with possible fall back towards 150p thereafter.

Just a thought? - Looking back at Interims last year IGas Shares were 49p on September 20th 2017 the release date of interims. Six days later they were 40% higher (69p on 26th). A similar bounce later this month, with favourable information rich interims (based on today's SP) could give 150p+ ....... Again just a thought, as always don't take anyone's word for it. Breakout? - jump possibly back to 130p. Maybe Brent at $78 will convert IGas Non believers?....... If your waiting for a lower entry point?.... Not happening! Interims due in 3 weeks time, they should show a steady return to profit and perhaps gain recognition from rating agencies? Existing Major Investors in IGas are buying up available shares on the cheap as they know the Gas reserves locked underground will be released. Remember this is NOW a lean low debt company with prudent accountants at the helm.

Fardels - The hedging is an ongoing process.......The question is if your negotiating a portion of next years production hedge would you prefer $75 now and some predicting $80Brent or $72 now and a declining price? (RNS March18 average call spread of $60/bbl - $75/bbl.)The hedge is because the new prudent bean counters want a degree of certainty rather than pure speculation. Knowing in advance that you have hypothetically $56Million Guaranteed revenue it makes it easier to write the investment cheques. Am happy with a steady increase in profits if it allows IGas to operate strategically while we wait for the game changer of unconventional gas reserves to be proved up.

If the production is hedged then a dollar on the POO brings diddly squat. If they have had he'd ALL production then I'd say that has been a bad move.

Brent over $75! Each extra Dollar adds around $839,000 PA to Revenue (NB Production is Hedged into 2019 to reduced downside risk) ---------SP at Only 12% above restructuring price (90p) when Brent was $50 makes this a inexpensive entry point. The untapped unconventional Gas assets could be regarded as all upside----------IMO someone had the foresight to buy a million shares yesterday 2x 500K on the cheap.DYOR & Do the Math

If anyone is new to IGas this is a pivotal time for the company. I believe that major existing shareholders realise this and are quietly increasing their positions. The UK government are fully aware we are running out of energy "UK has gone from being a net exporter of gas in 2003 to importing over half (53%) of gas supplies in 2017 and estimates suggest we could be importing 72% of our gas by 2030" Fracking May be unpopular but the hint of a return to a three day working week would cause major unrest and put pressure on any Government. Local campaigners are doing a great job delaying any Shale development in their community but are completely oblivious to the harm they are doing to the UK as a whole. Their efforts would be better spent protesting against "Chinese corporations (who) are building or planning to build more than 700 new coal plants at home and around the world" NY Times July 17 (NB the world breathes the same air)IMO The UK government is committed to being energy independent, with Gas playing a major part as the bridge to a renewables biased future. Positive news yesterday about further investment from Sand Grove hedge fund, an advocate of Event-driven investing strategy in the recovering energy sector. A strategy that seeks to exploit pricing inefficiencies. IMO IGas is in an inefficient market, one in which an asset's market price does not accurately reflect its true value - Sand Grove has doubled their investment to 10%, they have expertise, financial leverage and access to information. HQ is in Mayfair only 2 miles from Westminster, maybe they know something? - DYOR

IMO late share price surge friday on low volume suggest next leg up and Bullish opportunity. IGas Restructured in debt for equity swap at 90p with sub $50 Brent. Hedged conventional Oil production into 2019 will support company and provide investment funds while we wait for Gas exploration at Tinker Lane, Springs Road & Testing at Ellesmere Port-1 (Ellesmere is an existing well, common sense will prevail. If it's already there why not test it? IMO permission will be granted at UK Government level as it could be designated nationally important infrastructure under ongoing government proposals) DYOR

with 80% of the UK using gas for heating/cooking and 50% imported from EU and Russia (who we are sticking x2 fingers up to with Brexit and sanctions) I would say we are already dependent on them so the quicker we have are own gas supply on tap the better, and all these do good'ers protesting would soon change their minds if sitting in a cold house with only the microwave to cook. lol
