Wind and solar are certainly going to contribute yes, but on a cloudy still day we would be sat in the dark. lol

Wind and solar are the future. Offshore gas will have its place but fracking in the UK is finished - not that it ever really started.

Maybe, but without industry news it aint going anywhere .... expecting some from IGAS at the end of September, and from Egdon first week November .... but between now and the end of the year I'm sure we will see movement one way or the other.

God knows UK needs energy as close to home and as cheap as possible.
It would do the balance of payments a world of good, industry/consumer, Treasury too.
If not shale then UGCG.

Agree ... its lack of news ... news releases from IGAS & Egdon state all the action will be in the late part of 2017.
I've already suffered one slide from 150-4p so don't want another. Without a news update it is understandable that there are few buyers around, so just need to wait for x6 weeks until we get some.

No pain no Gain, All the fundamentals are in place including negligible debt. Sentiment dented due to lack of news but IGas presumably happy and prudent to let Cuadrilla to do the trailblazing. share price could rise extremely quickly on positive news on unconventional Gas deposits (IGas or Cuadrilla) or additional confirmation of being cash positive on existing producing conventional Oil resources. DYOR
