all the anti frackers, should volunteer to have their
gas powered heating sytems removed. typical nimby's
happy for gas to be shipped from Qatar, with all the associated
environmental and financial costs, but don't want it here.
It is also the governments fault, if they proposed all revenue
from uk produced shale was to be invested in a sovereign wealth
fund for the benefit of everyone and lower energy costs, their
would be very little opposition, but they will squander it as
they did with north sea oil.

Conservative Manifesto:

“We will legislate to change planning law for shale applications. Non-fracking drilling will be treated as permitted development, expert planning functions will be established to support local councils, and, when necessary, major shale planning decisions will be made the responsibility of the National Planning Regime.

We will set up a new Shale Environmental Regulator, which will assume the relevant functions of the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. This will provide clear governance and accountability, become a source of expertise, and allow decisions to be made fairly but swiftly.

Finally, we will change the proposed Shale Wealth Fund so a greater percentage of the tax revenues from shale gas directly benefit the communities that host the extraction sites. Where communities decide that it is right for them, we will allow payments to be made directly to local people themselves. A significant share of the remaining tax revenues will be invested for the benefit of the country at large”

i agree with you Dean RH post 6992 but I wouldn't have used such words.
The young are not encouraged to be careul and companies are allowed to penalise those who are by charging more if you don't have direct debit.
It is truly iniquitous.
I bet most don't check their bank statements, credit card statements, electricity bills, gas bills etc
with Direct Debit they are happy to let others put their hadns into their bank accounts and take whatever.
all doomed Mr Mannering!

IMO it looks to me like some stake building going on here on the relative quiet, no?

SF, GG,
Thanks for the confirmation. If I had been a bit more thorough I wouldn't have missed that.

GG, that announcement suggests their stake has gone from 0% to 15.5% in the one transaction....no? Or am I reading it wrong?

Trans European oil and gas have upped their stake by another 2%
Rns out today.

Hoovering up shares from the weak.

Im happy to hold, looking for 8p at least.
Free carries on the drills are worth more than the current market cap.
Let alone the conventional onshore assets.

Would buy more, but already loaded up.

Gd luck all GG

Hi WJ,

I will be looking for 10p.
We should be valued at around 7p at least.

I guess it bondholders who took the equity offloading for a big profit.
I am talking the unsecured bondholders.

They were trading at 20cents and got 62.5 cents back in equity in the restructure.
So a very good return to cash in. This hs been tempering the shareprice imho.

When these weak holders are cleared we will rise.

Best GG

Take over imminent? Two new directors coming in from a company that owns 28%.
Are they here to supervise a smooth transition?
I guess the departing directors are the one selling.
6/7m shares a day sold every day on average. It shouldn't be too long before the next rise.
