What choice does the UK have?

Balance of payments are rubbish, spending like water on old nuclear tech that will deliver energy more expensive electricity than ideal, desire for energy independence.

The likes of IGAS have a future if they can keep costs under control.

Ah yes, coal mining. Underground explosions, collapses, thousands of miners' deaths.. Spoil heaps... Aberfan... Pneumoconiosis (black lung)... Every building in the country black from coal smoke... Smog...

And then there's gas..

Nuff said.

Igas is a well known and respected operator of oil and gas wells in the East Midlands around North Notts and Gainsborough and the local council is supportive as further development will bring good jobs and money to the area - much safer and cleaner than coal mining. Only opposition is likely to be the roving rent-a-mobs.

svenice- planning permission is worth zilch if people start blocking the roads near the drill sites. England is too crowded for fracking. Works in the US because of the wide open spaces and low population density.

Oil is cheap. People in the UK don't want fracking anywhere near where they live ergo fracking companies will lose money on a continuing basis. Nobrainer.

I believe this'll come good, just alot of patience required. I'll be surprised if we don't get some positive news by end of July. All imho of course.

Gold map.....rinse & repeat, look at 3yr share price chart.....even after consolidation the share price has not reached previous levels. This is a BOD lifestyle company imho, watch the fall in share price back to small pennies again. Then consolidation & repeat. IMHO.

no difference really .... from 11,000 shareholders on the register, 4000 has less than 200 shares (£9 in value)... cost more to sell.
So its either top up or leave for those holders.
As for value no difference x20 old shares @4p ... is the same as x1 new share @80p
