07/11/2013 18:41 | Maybe But you know what salesmen are like - the client is always just about to sign... So you discount the potential pipeline and .. It still doesn't happen | phillis
07/11/2013 18:40 | Now Now Phillis, No I don't need to bleat unless I have reason, and the lack of positive comments from IDOX over the past few months, then as quite a large shareholder I do expect Transparency and integrity. that's why we all invest !! | tryone2
07/11/2013 13:49 | Well Phillis if all those contracts were not quite signed on 31st October then if they are signed in November instead that could be a very helpful announcement to the market as an indicator that the investment case is in tact. | tell it as it is
07/11/2013 07:52 | shares go up and down and businesses sometimes disappoint you have lost money ( it happens when you invest in shares) so your first reaction is to bleat on about integrity and transparency give me a break! | phillis
06/11/2013 20:11 | no I understand about value of shares and ask why they lose 25% in a couple of weeks without no one spotting something | tryone2
06/11/2013 08:37 | a most ridiculous comment if you understand the point about accounting policy the release should have been put to bed over the weekend for a 7am announcement one of the principals was indisposed so the drafting took a little longer to get settled v unfortunate but the result is the same | phillis
05/11/2013 19:21 | Cash income is not the only thing that matters we also need is transparency and integrity, just look at the timing of comments | tryone2
05/11/2013 11:42 | Tell it as it is Right on The profit warning has come only after contracts were not signed on the last day of the accounting period I expect the policy for accruing revenue is explained in the accounts but it just goes to show that cash income is actually what counts | phillis
05/11/2013 08:49 | WELL WELL WELL!!!!! PHILLIS NO SIGN OF DE COWARD DAVIDOSH!!!!!! PUMPS DE WINNERS HIDES HIS SINNERS!!!!!!! WILL WE HEAR HIS VIEWS????????????? SIR ARCHIE IS WAITING!!!!!! | sir leonardo
05/11/2013 08:45 | A personal decision (dyor etc)which depends on your timescales. Confidence has undoubtedly been hit and short term I can't see the price recovering much. In that respect I would have thought that there has to be better short term opportunities out there. Longer term I still think it is a good business, the public sector arm is doing well and I think there is a role for the EIM/private sector element. I generally have a longer term outlook and am holding. That said, I am still disappointed in progress. | rp19
05/11/2013 08:40 | Have held IDOX before, bit of a surprise all this, it'll probably come good eventually but currently still think its pricey on a market cap relative to sales, p.e.r, and div basis. Not tempted yet. Just my opinion. Sorry to read of the bad news folks. | owenski
05/11/2013 08:06 | Come back Davidosh all is forgiven! | phillis
05/11/2013 08:01 | So general consensus is to sell Idox? | pari124
05/11/2013 07:50 | Fair enough ! | pj 1
05/11/2013 07:42 | PJ1.........we have had three profit warnings......most took the AGM statement as a warning ( the share price fell from 56p to 50p). It was only that the Board went on the offensive after the AGM that the share price recovered..... | graham1ty
04/11/2013 19:30 | The only statements from the CEO are ? words with no ?, what's going on why don't you get a CFO on board, you have had enough time ??? then we can all have a better picture | tryone2
04/11/2013 18:27 | imo Beware profit warnings often come in 3's Don't bottom pick, wait for a bullish trend to appear Wait for positive statement from Co. On my watchlist, good company | pj 1
04/11/2013 18:22 | still a sell says steve moore www.shareprophets.ad | phoenix1234
04/11/2013 18:09 | Pari, I also read shares mag. Have annual subscription. My opinion is they do often get it wrong (and then usually coverage wanes) or they get it right and follow up by banging their drum. I am not saying its bad, in fact many of their tips and write ups are decent, but usually best to wait on sidelines before buying on a write up. Typically this is what I would do and for me at 30p idox is interesting. | rimmy2000
04/11/2013 17:57 | As a newbie to private investing, I actually came across Idox after reading about them in Shares magazine. They have covered this company on a number of occasions and therefore, after reading the write up, thought, Idox to be a low risk investment. In the end, I purchased £4k worth of shares at .44 and today they are worth around .30p. Ideally it would be nice to hold onto the shares until the company manages to sort itself out but would also like to invest the cash into say, THT, that is doing very well at the moment. Does anyone have any sincere advise on the matter? Kind regards Pari | pari124 |
