Good morning all :)

I am wondering what to make of the Change of Adviser RNS this morning given the recent sale of the Pentana business.

A part of me thinks if the decks are being cleared to sell up the business as there are plenty of funds sloshing about ? I have held IDEA very profitably over a number of years and this announcement strikes me as interesting.....and potentially significant.

IDEA IS PRIME FOR TAKEOVER. USA company likely candidate. News update should be soon. I say Valued about 650p plus….get ready for a rapid rise.

Agree. IDEA must be a very strong candidate for M&A by US company. I would say is 80% chance Takeover soon. Value at least 525p plus..

So despite all the shenanigans the bid offer price into the close is exactly the same as yesterday. No doubt we will have another rogue UT as it's Friday. I am looking to add if it breaks 295 - got an alarm set and apart from Wednesday when it briefly went off it hasn't traded above that level yet despite the chart lol

Just had a nosey on the IDEA website...actively recruiting to 40 jobs globally....clearly some major growth anticipated :)

As a long term investor, IDEA has never disappointed !!

No - I ignore all this stuff even when I've heard of them. Anyone can set this kind of thing up and pump out predictions. I always say that if they could forecast the future they would have made their fortune a long time ago

These are not "huge" moves down - it's a perfectly normal retrace for a share of this cap. Show a share that has made big returns that doesn't make this kind of retrace. Maybe you can find one or two but the majority will retrace this % and more. I always find it amusing that a share shows a little short term weakness and people arrive with their low ball forecasts - happens time and time again

Based on £1.86 will this be tested and therefore more sellers moving in. That is a 30% fall at risk. What do you think following the recent huge moves down from £3. Something as going on as there is no smoke without fire....
