08/9/2023 17:35 | When all is said and done the people responsible for this is the Financial Conduct Authority. People can't be blamed for investing in a company on the London Stock Exchange, that's what a stock market is for. Yes there are risks involved and everybody knows that. The live issue here is companies that list or are listed with no intention of running a business for profit or making a return to its shareholders. The sole intention of their listing is to line the pockets of the directors and their facilitators. It is the FCA that has failed ICON investors over the years for at every stage the directors have taken legal advice. It does appear the FCA are now doing something about companies like ICON but as I posted earlier it is too late for existing shareholders. | pwhite73

08/9/2023 15:40 | Thank goodness we had the prospectus ! | chinese investor
08/9/2023 14:13 | jammytass - 100% correct. The stock was relisted simply to steal more money from gullible PIs. One director in America, another director in Czech Republic another director in the UK and millions still owed to those that drove the company into the ground in the first place. The market cap is now just £750K. There is no business here. Anyway it looks as if something is being done at last about these types of companies but its too late for PIs already invested. | pwhite73
08/9/2023 14:01 | legag scam and the london stock exchange do nothing never was there any new start just a scam to let there city buds get some money back jail the crooks | jammytass

08/9/2023 13:29 | My sincerest apologies PW. I don't know what came over me. I do not know how I would cope were you to filter me. I earnestly hope that you do not do such a cruel and heartless thing. Sorry. Consider myself duly chastised. | kemche
08/9/2023 13:05 | kemche - This is the ICON thread. What you're posting is what I've been saying on the VRS thread for months. I never filter anyone unless they are deliberately ruining the thread with images and spam. However if your behaviour is not modified I am going to put you on filter. I'm more than happy to discuss Turnaround Specialists, Prompt, banks etc on the VRS thread. Now FFS grow up. | pwhite73
08/9/2023 12:59 | I have heard that they are going to invest in "great things" , the sort that you an I would not be able to invest in. | bionicdog
08/9/2023 12:57 | "Many standard listed companies that have no demonstrable business and listed solely to fleece PIs will be heading for the exit and placing as many shares as they can before the curtain finally comes down." PW, would £90k in sales be construed as "demonstrable business"? Unfortunately I am invested in a company with just such a scenario. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. | kemche
08/9/2023 12:55 | They need a Turnaround Specialist ASAP! And I am 150% convinced of that. Only with the appointment of a TS will they have the full support of banks (plural) and access to untold funding. | kemche
08/9/2023 12:52 | This is all beginning to sound a bit fishy. I may not buy after all. David assured me that it was another little winner. | bionicdog
08/9/2023 12:49 | The shares are down 90% from the relist price of 0.016p. Don't know if you all are aware but the FCA are changing the rules for standard listed companies. They must have a regulated financial sponsor equivalent to a nomad. Companies that have no commercial business are unlikely to attract a sponsor as the sponsor like a nomad is responsible for regulatory compliance and can be fined. The standard and premium listing is to be replaced with one category called - ESCC (Equity Shares in Commercial Companies). Many standard listed companies that have no demonstrable business and listed solely to fleece PIs will be heading for the exit and placing as many shares as they can before the curtain finally comes down. I suspect ICON is one of them. | pwhite73
