29/6/2022 10:57 | The NAV update doesn't make a lot of sense does it... in an environment where the worlds best companies have lost on average about 30% of their values ICGT think their assets have increased in value? Pull the other one. | nimbo1
28/6/2022 18:55 | 1968jon post 258 of 274 re Iweb not allowing purchases of shares. UPDATE. An attendee at the AGM has been in written correspondence with Chairman over this. As a result, ICGT have had several discussions with Iweb and will now be resubmitting their "application". Thus, progress is being made but the end not quite yet in sight. | peckers56
28/6/2022 18:46 | Today's AGM. Apart from those shareholders attending (i.e. 8 - we were outnumbered as usual!!), facilities had been "meticulously" set up to [A] broadcast the event in real time, [B] allow questions to be texted "live" via an ICGT web page [C] accept phoned-in "live" questions. Chairman somewhat embarrassed when informed by CoSec that nobody was "listening in". Where were you!!! | peckers56
28/6/2022 18:18 | Yes,in a time when stocks with defensive characteristics are being sought you'd have thought ICGT has the proven pedigree to be able to choose those excellent investment opportunities. Such a pity it so rarely figures in any recommendation to purchase in the press. With its huge discount to NAV and its 2.5% dividend I'm quite happy it's a substantial part of my long-term rather reduced wad of holdings :-) | tonio
28/6/2022 16:12 | Very reassuring update. Contrary to many predictions, NAV has proved resilient to the wider market turmoil. The key point for me is that realisations are still seeing a decent uplift (of around 23%). A 40% discount makes no sense at all. They also state that recent volatility has created some excellent investment opportunities to power the next phase of their growth. | riverman77
28/6/2022 14:44 | Q1 Update for the three months ended 30 April 2022 NAV per Share Total Return of 4.5% in the first quarter; 27.9% in the last twelve months Highlights -- NAV per Share of 1,761p (31 January 2022: 1,690p), NAV per Share Total Return of 4.5% during the quarter; 27.9% during the last twelve months -- Portfolio Return on a Local Currency Basis during the quarter of 2.0% (Sterling return: 5.2%); 30.2% during the last twelve months. 12/5/2022 08:19 | There's always that lag in NAV meansurement though. Discount is 40% against a number that reflects a different time | spangle93
12/5/2022 08:10 | Good results , nice div to collect at this level as well. Sentiment is on the floor and discount c.40% so probably time to buy. | its the oxman

07/5/2022 20:15 | Ok, got a confirmed date now, results will be issued on thurs ie 12th. | rambutan2
03/5/2022 16:16 | oops - Interactive Investor! | mancman1
03/5/2022 15:43 | I have been regularly topping up on these in my ISA with Interactive Brokers. My last purchase was a month ago, and I should be buying some more tomorrow. I have checked my account and as far as I can see tomorrow's purchase will still go ahead. | mancman1
03/5/2022 12:07 | strathroyal, I have emailed the company and they are investigating. To their knowledge they have not "changed anything to prevent retail investors from investing in ICG Enterprise Trust". From previous experience Iweb certainly can be a bit strict/odd/difficult when it comes to PE ITs. | 1968jon
03/5/2022 11:57 | I had previously bought this through my ISA provider but they have also stopped offering it. When I called them for a webchat, I was given the same reason, no longer available to retail investors. | strathroyal
03/5/2022 11:09 | I own a chunk of these in a professional portfolio but was unable to add some this morning in an ISA in my own name with Iweb. They say that the KIID changed on the 10th of February and that retail investors can no longer buy the stock. (They do not provide services to professional clients apparently so I cannot go that route with them). Anyone else heard this with Iweb or other providers? | 1968jon
28/4/2022 16:56 | Finals s/b end April - so tomorrow perhaps. | skyship
28/4/2022 15:42 | Oops, got that wrong! Can't be far away though... | rambutan2
27/4/2022 21:51 | Prelims out in the morning. Despite the best efforts of CHWY, nav should be up by at least 5% I would have thought. Am less sure it will have much effect on the share price/discount as Mr Mkt seems to have settled on 30% being a reasonable mark across the sector. | rambutan2 |
