this is excellent news ... seller of major part of company selling at close to mkt price to new investors. Imagine if had drip fed onto market ? Who cares their reason ... at least transfers shares to those that want them at a fair price and in an orderly fashion.

Thinking about this - and forgive me if this is incorrect - the fact that the shares sold under the placing were sold at 215p, share price shouldn't, in theory, be doing much below that should it? Otherwise it'd be a loss for whoever bought them (?)

Nice. They've sold the lot. Let's hope in due course the removal of the uncertainty created by the market knowing this seller will sell should lift us up towards 250p...

Good news. Increased liquidity with them selling down their stake. Taking advantage of a strong price, but tbh the market knows they will sell, I think they will have 50m shares left. Will be glad when they are all sold personally. PE not the kind of long term holders I feel comfortable investing alongside. And if the price dips to 200 again I'll add a few more.

This was always on the cards. The shares were tightly held by one of the original owners, I believe 37% approx (away from home and dont have my notes). This was one of my concerns that he could dump stock at any time. In the long term its better with more shares for institutions to take an interest but very annoying that the announcement is made late in the day. This sort of thing should be made illegal as it gives PIs no chance of reacting. However still a holder since the float.
