Just bought in at 245p ; I like a stock that produces something tangible not a service. Tipped last week.

I topped up at 2.04 on Monday. I'm optimistic on this one.

The housebuilders have also bounced back a bit so far today. Following yesterday's shameful shenanigans it does seem that a 'no deal' brexit is not on anyone's agenda.

I can't see any reason for today's rise - just bouncing back to fair value?!

Significant holder Vulcan Value partners has increased their holding from 5.5% to 10.1%, it’s an interesting fund:

“We are value investors but we don’t look for cheap stocks. We look for businesses with inherently stable values that can compound their values steadily over time. We get to know them very well before we buy them because they are overvalued, by our math, most of the time. On the rare occasions when they do become discounted, we can move very rapidly to take advantage of those discounts because we’ve been following the companies for many years, sometimes decades.

Our investment time horizon is five years and if we would not be comfortable owning a business for this time period, it does not qualify for investment. This is one of our competitive advantages”

The fund has done spectacularly well, clearly they think IBST is undervalued - so do I!

Get up you stock!!! Back in at 2.34 after selling way to early at £1.90ish after the brexit crash. Been kicking myself ever since. If it drops further following Thursday's results (as long as it's not another warning / no major issues), will top up.

I've bought back in after selling in March @2.90. Agree this is over-done.

Agreed. The reaction does seem overdone for a short term blip. The intention to announce a supplementary dividend in August still stands

Just bought a few more of these. I really don't get the 10% fall on what I read as a very positive statement for the future. Very happy to hold. Barring external factors I'd expect these to largely recover in fairly short order. All IMHO

I sold out this AM, took 112% profit and I sold as I new the funds for something else. I believe this definitely has further legs in it. Good luck all.

Excellent results and a nice hike in the dividend. Looks like they'll be generating plenty of cash going forward.

Great time to be in this sector - UK not producing enough bricks to meet market demand, Ibstock increasing their output. Making hay whilst the sun shines.

Looks like this is building up a nice head of steam ahead of the results out next Monday. Hopefully they will show that everything's on track.
