We need someone to provide funding! Repsol had been mentioned as a candidate for funding as they operate Blake. But I think it will be someone else - if I was a gambling man my money would be on RockRose being at least partly involved.

Repsol released a strategic update today. Upstream investment planned for many places, but no mention of UK North Sea. hTTps://www.repsol.com/en/press-room/press-releases/repsol-updates-2018-2020-strategic-plan.cshtmlI'll be surprised if Repsol invest in Liberator after this publication, when added to an earlier story that Repsol are looking to divest their UK North Sea assets.

Even after the huge rise since the beginning of the year this has bagged again in just over a month (intraday low on the 3rd May 57.5p) and still looks remarkably strong. Says it all really. New highs coming. AIMO..

Most of Monday's fall was down to the spectre of a placing following Chrisoil's tweet, imo.

Yesterday was pretty much level, but today we see a nice recovery.

It seems to me that most investors aren't phased by a placing as, IF there was one, it would almost certainly be a smallish part of a broader funding package that moves Liberator forward towards production.

Oh, I'm not impatient. I've held SQZ for nine years, PMG and igas for so long I think they're glued to me. Happy to hold these as long as it takes.

Bit more patience required by some. Whats a few days or even weeks in the grand scheme of things? We had the same situation when we were awaiting 30th round news. Funding is imminent. We've had confirmation from GH and NC. Check out Malcy's blog again if you wish.

"As I understand it there are at least two firm offers on the table for financing for i3 both of which are incredibly supportive and involve little or no dilution to the company.

Accordingly today’s price rise of around 20% is just the beginning."

GLA and stay patient!

After the longer than expected wait for the OGA decision , it is not surprising that patience is wearing a bit thin and folk just want a funding package announced .
Any old funding package ?!
Perhaps just the 'indicative' agreement of 33%r equity for 200 mill ?
or retain more equity for less money ?
I don't know what amount of cash is required to get the 2 drills done or looking at it t'other way round , is it possible or practical, thar a deal retaining 90 -100% of the equity could be done ?
After all the BoD haven't just got skin in the game . it's more a case of an arm and a leg !

showme01,

Sorry, not trying to teach you to suck eggs. It was this comment from FB;

"Maybe they decided they don't need 200m for one appraisal/producer and they're trying to find what they do need to do the whole job with one drill?"

In fairness, it was not intended for you, so I'll remove your name from my post.

The plan seems to be go for a multi-well campaign rather than a single well campaign. Otherwise, why did they not agree this 'single well' funding ages ago?

Proving that there's oil there is obviously a key reason for the app well. However, while they're down there they'll be looking to glean as much info as possible to help work out how much of any oil found can be recovered. If they can make a case for closing the gap between the CPR's 35% RF & Blake's historic 60% RF, well.....

Cash, thanks for that. All the time I thought it was for one drill.....not. Do you really think I have spent the time to meet the BoD, own over 1% of the company and not have a clue about drill costs? I'm getting advice on obligations on how to run and plc and now related overheads for a drill campaign. Think I will give this board a rest for a bit.

Fardels Bear,

The $200mln figure was not for one producer, it was for a multi well campaign
development campaign.

The cost of one producer will be nowhere near that.

Edited.
