15/7/2024 17:03 | The spike in gas didn't last long. This share is having to run just to stand still. | ![]() golfer32
15/7/2024 08:30 | Change of nominated advisor to Zeus. This was posted Dec '23 on ADVFN / LSE Last week we attended a site visit to i3’s assets in central Alberta in Canada – the company’s largest producing area. We were left with a favourable impression of the magnitude of the company’s operations in the region, of the professional operational running of these, and of the overall level of opportunity in this well established oil and gas province......... Overall, we were impressed with the scale and professional operation of the i3 assets and facilities we toured, and were left with the impression that the company’s portfolio assets have significant potential for further growth......... The company also clearly has an experienced and cohesive team, well capable of executing its plans and work programmes going forward, in our view........ | ![]() marine boy
14/7/2024 18:08 | But Fanny - can you get Bumble inoculated and prevent her from plying her wares in Skeggy - it’s not fair on them - please haul her in - ffs ! | ![]() tonynorstrom1
14/7/2024 15:06 | Buybacks are the holy grail. Anyone who says otherwise needs to go back to investing 101 | ![]() rogen83
14/7/2024 10:25 | Im currently sitting break even here, I bought around 10,02 and now have a slightly lower average, the Divi on 2nd August will put me in profit at current prices. This is a great share to trade if you call it correctly, i still feel the next financials may pull the share price down, however it may be priced in, I'm not sure, thats the gamble.... The dynamics of this share changes from day to day, week to week like any other share, if we just sat back and let the game play out then inadvertently you will fail. Notwithstanding I have a large bonus coming and would be happy buying in at 8p or 9p. Its a win win position for me............ | ![]() fandagle
13/7/2024 07:49 | Fanny - have you taken bumble in to get inoculated yet? | ![]() tonynorstrom1
13/7/2024 07:47 | I don’t agree that buying back shares is an accounting trick or slight of hand. The key as the previous poster stated is that the shares are very cheap relative to peers, it’s own reserves and drilling new wells. We don’t own the whole company, only shares in it so any action that increases the value of those shares is welcome in my book. Eric Nuttall is a big advocate of buy backs and has already noted that Companies buying back their own stock are outperforming those that don’t. | ![]() tonynorstrom1
12/7/2024 20:27 | 'When have they ever really thought about the shareholder?' Presumably you must have thought that they would think about shareholders, otherwise you wouldn't have bought shares recently, no? | ![]() jw97
12/7/2024 17:44 | There is more chance of Tony changing his rotten soiled nappy than the BOD approving buybacks! When have they ever really thought about the shareholder? Give yourselves a good shake FFS | ![]() fandagle
12/7/2024 16:54 | One other thought. What would move the needle most. An announcement of a share buy-back or a production increase ? I'm expecting (hoping) the latter soon. All imho Usual caveats. | ![]() marine boy
12/7/2024 16:51 | Fair comment Tony, but that seems just an accounting trick as I'd rather a production increase is the instrument that increases production per share not sleight of hand like buying own shares from borrowed money & then cancelling them. | ![]() marine boy
12/7/2024 14:03 | If they buy back shares then they should be cancelled or what’s the point? | ![]() tonynorstrom1
12/7/2024 13:52 | You shure people wouldn't dump shares when buyback is done and shares bought back not cancelled ? | ![]() marmar80
12/7/2024 13:40 | “buying back shares may increase the EPS & thus the share price but doesn't increase production which is what i3e need to sustain (and increase) dividends & support growth.” It also increases the production per share and reduces the dividend cost. I.e. if they bought back 10% of their shares - it would reduce their dividend payments 10% hence they could increase the dividend on the remaining shares by 10% without increasing their overall payment. Imo - they should be buying back shares but i3e have a different idea. | ![]() tonynorstrom1
12/7/2024 12:57 | The moment the buyback ends the price goes down and company is left with cheap shares. Only buyback followed by cancellation mkes sense. | ![]() marmar80
12/7/2024 12:52 | ashkv, buying back shares may increase the EPS & thus the share price but doesn't increase production which is what i3e need to sustain (and increase) dividends & support growth. I think many would be dismayed if i3e started buying back their own shares even if they are at an apparent $/bbl discount. | ![]() marine boy
12/7/2024 11:30 | Goodday back in jail until September then, another livestock molestation! One of the guys met him in a Wetherspoons bar in York, he’s a skinny, spotty, sweaty, little creep! Isn’t it amazing how a horrible person like him can be so insignificant in the real world! | ![]() fandagle

12/7/2024 11:06 | From the other bulletin board - I concur! -> Ev/bbl1 Jul 2024 22:53 Assuming i3e trades at a significant EV discount of $9k/bbl - there is no justification for any acquisition other than to buy back its own shares. Why would you pay any amount above $10k/ flowing bbl, when there is a much better value accretive situation present which is basically buying back your own shares at a significant discount? Wouldn’t it be better to divert and use $10-20mn of capex towards buying back the company’s shares at $9k/bbl than drill using the full 50mn capex? Or using the recent $25mn divestment which was done at over $60k per flowing bbl , to buyback i3e shares at $9k per bbl metrics which is significantly more accretive than paying back debt and then spending $50mn on drilling capex? | ![]() ashkv

12/7/2024 10:12 | 4th July RNS: "The Capital Reduction will become effective upon the registration of the court order by the Registrar of Companies, which is expected to occur in the next few days." I assume this has now occurred so it's time for Majid to flex that finance facility & either buy an asset or start H2 drilling to increase production. | ![]() marine boy
12/7/2024 09:14 | 'Are we going back to 8p?' Having just paid 10p for your shares I imagine that you're hoping not, no? A 20% loss in just a few days wouldn't be impressive. | ![]() jw97
12/7/2024 09:11 | To win with only 33.8% of the vote from a 60% turnout is hardly a victory in my books. | ![]() marine boy |
