Firebag produced 231,000 bpd of crude in May, Alberta Energy Regulator data show. In addition to Firebag, the wildfire is within about 25 km of two other major oil sands sites: Imperial Oil Ltd.’s Kearl mine and Cenovus Energy Inc.’s Sunrise well site

Decision made to invest in Canadian floating LNG project powered by hydroelectricity

The Haisla Nation and Pembina Pipeline Corporation, partners in Cedar LNG Partners LP, announced a final investment decision to proceed with the Cedar LNG Project, a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility on Canada’s West Coast.

The LNG facility will have a nameplate capacity of 3.3 million tonnes per annum and be located in the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation. It will be powered by renewable electricity from BC Hydro.

I left BAE in 1997, then worked all over the world as a licensed aircraft engineer until Bin Liner put a stop to that, from then it’s been all oil and gas, I’m at the top of my field at what I do, perhaps that’s why I only work a few hours per week and get 5-6k every month. I guess the reason you don’t work with accountants is due to your appalling guesswork with financial figures? Dont worry about me Tony, take care of yourself.
