Nice to see crude climbing this morning and Canadian gas price doubling over the last two days.

Not going well on Fanny predictions
Iâm thinking 8p by Friday? Then 7p when Labour get in! Then 6p when the Divi is binned! Then 5p when we get the production costs & debt! Will just leave this one here!
🤣🤣🤣

"Also let's support the UK economy and jobs etc.. I'm sure common sense will prevail."

Unfortunately the UK establishment do NOT do common sense, and instead are determined to destroy the UK's energy independence!

To be honest, I don’t think it will affect the share price much either way.

I’m thinking more about wider factors.

Jeez, if a golden wonder crisp packet blows across the I3E yard the share price drops 5%! And with the pessimistic financials incoming it’s Tin hat time! Are we going back to 8p?

Decision to come back to NS here back on the days has depressed share price from 15 to 10p. If there is be some ban to come, this will effectively stop us from reevaluating that option and some shareholders gonna love it.

It seems crazy that we’re not fully behind oil and gas self sufficiency in these uncertain times. Also let’s support the UK economy and jobs etc.. I’m sure common sense will prevail.

The government don't have to ban NS licences, the Courts when action is brought by the 'environmentalist' planning is being refused at every turn, there's been horse hill, and just recently Biscathorpe along with the Cumbrian coal mine. The environmentalist are crowing like demented banshees that THEIR actions have started the ball rolling and companies will start to see its not worth bothering applying for licences in the UK.

Once again the NIMBY's have won, and instead they have exported this countries oil industry and it's jobs and wealth to foreign countries, just to make the UK look virtuous!!

Take a day off please Fandagle.

Sorry to be off-topic but it may be worth a punt on EOG. There seems to be something stirring over there. They are producing loads of oil at Wressle (onland UK) and have a couple of very interesting assets in Ireland and EG which if they get a farm in partner would create a five bagger share price imo. I’ve bought some and still hold here.

Why not stop a source of revenue when the UK is desperate for cash.
Five years of this lot with only 33.8% of the vote from a 60% turnout.
Bring on Proportional Representation.

Ed Miliband has ordered an immediate ban on new drilling in the North Sea in a decision that overrules his own officials and risks triggering a wave of legal action. In an unusual intervention into what is typically an apolitical process, the Energy Secretary has told regulators not to approve a new round of drilling that was slated for confirmation in the coming weeks. His decision to block the licences means that companies will have wasted millions of pounds on preparing their bids, with experts warning they are likely to take legal action as a result.
